April 5th, 2006 01:06 PM #734charelle, av8or5, go back to page 35 of this thread. Even 1 or two pages back (page 33-34), there is a discussion on the possible effects on using BD in older engines, plus the contact persons and distributors of bioactive and senbel. If you want cheaper bioactive, I gave complete contact number of AMR in Cubao in page 35. Except they sell by the box, not by the bottle.

April 5th, 2006 01:37 PM #735altec: micro filter:I need a fuel filter that can separate water from BD. Kabit ko sa ElF ko (4BE1-eagle motor niya). PM me na lang.
Regarding naman sa HB(homebrew): around 80% yield. Glycerin byproduct. Pwede gawin soap. Crdi: Di ko naman masyado iniisip coz wala nga ako crdi, he,he.
flagg: ano feedstock mo? saan galing WVO? Wait til lumipat ako sa bundok coz wala akong lugar dito. Gagawa na ako ng 10 liters, kuha ka muna dun.

thanks Pajerokid and altec: contacted AMR. Yup, it's cheaper with them although its per box or pail, i guess investing on one box is okay as long as it delivers as promised. with the reviews here, I believe it will help my car.
wish me luck
thanks guys

Hi All!
The local contact of Biodiesel Solutions for the Fuel Meister is Finn Asia, Inc.
Just had an interesting meeting with the CEO a while ago.
I can now assist you guys with your inquiries regarding this.
He has one demo unit in-country right now and has already made a few batches.
He is also in the process of assembling locally, a biodiesel processor which he and his colleagues disigned in Finland for sale domestically and for export.
For the next portion, please do not get mad at me as this is not an ad but rather an answer to questions asked by Garyq and flagg.
The cost of the Fuel Meister is about Php332,048.86 which is inclusive of ALL shipping, duties and tax, and VAT.
The units ship from Reno, Nevada and previously it has taken from 7 - 8 weeks to arrive and be cleared from the customs.
They are NOT grey imported, but fully legal.
As I mentioned earlier, he has one demo unit in Cavite, and that he is selling with a lower price and it is available immediately. Should you be interested in this option, we can quote you this as well.
Biodiesel Solutions is having a special offer starting March 24th and ending on Friday, April 14th. They will be giving a Free Oil Pre-heater Kit with each Fuel Meister or Fuel Meister Plus order. The value of this offer is USD275.
Hope this helps.
If you have any other questions and / or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

April 6th, 2006 10:23 AM #739flagg: pinaglutuan ng ano? mahalaga kasi yung quality nung wvo coz baka maraming FFA (free fatty acids), mahihirapan downstream.
hard: actually fuelmeister quoted me 2 years ago kaya lang prohibitive nga yung price coz around 200K at that time, landed cost. Hintayin ko yung local version. If you will look at the system simple lang gawin. Here's a link: http://www.biodieselcommunity.org/appleseedprocessor/

Hi Garyq!
Looks like a lot has changed since you last inquired with them.
I agree that it's quite expensive.
I remember reading in this thread that some people might be willing to split the costs and the yields.
Maybe this is the solution for them.
Yeah, appleseed processors are one option. There are definitely a lot of sources for designs and ideas on the net for sure!
Heck, I tried doing it myself until I got overwhelmed with my job and setting up my own company. :sigh:
Maybe one of these days I'll try to revive it.
If you do ever put one together. Share the designs OK? I'll look forward to that.
