sir falken, i noticed that Chemrez lowered their price of BioActiv BD. From P125 per liter, they are now selling it at P70/li. Bought mine at AMR in Cubao (they stopped selling Senbel and switched to BioActiv).

are they also selling bioactiv in carbouys and gallons there?

bro yun ang maganda sa BD, renewable yung fuel source. We can just continue planting coconuts, di ba? Ang fossil fuel eventually mauubos.

di na ako nakadiesel, pero when i was still using B2 (seaoil) laking bawas sa fuel knock and fumes... especially kung namamaintain ko malinis yung filters ko hehe.

question lang, anong mga chemicals ba ang ginagamit para iprocess ang BD?

and where do these come from?

baka kasi yung coconut, renewable nga, yung mga pangprocess naman, galing rin sa non-renewable resources.

Hey, good news! Thanks for the info Sir fuego4x2, saan malapit itong AMR? and, nagbaba na rin kaya ang price ng BioActiv sa mga Seaoil, Flying V and Eastern petroleum stations?

aside from coconut oil, methanol is the other ingridient which itself is derived from natural gas or from a distillate of petroleum. pero not to worry, mas malaki ang component ng coconut oil that is needed to make cocobiodiesel. besides you can also use ethanol which can be derived from sugarcane... although mas mahal nga lang yung ethanol from sugarcane vs. methanol from natural gas, plus, di pa masyado proven yung ethanol variant ng cocodiesel.

ang "dream scenario" nga nito, kung magtanim lang tayo ng sangkaterbang tubo at sangkatutak na buko sa buong Pilipinas, we can literally grow our fuel requirements from the farm. ethanol itself can be used as fuel for gas engine vehicles. tapos yung ethanol, react mo lang sa coco oil, cocodiesel naman ang kalalabsan :D. yun nga lang... tyak dadami ang magkakadiabetes at mangangamoy bulok na niyog ang bawat bayan na madadaanan mo ;)

AMR is near sm cubao. their number is 4377233. i just called for a price update. their bioactiv is P72 per liter bottle and P1300.00 for the pail (their equivalent of carbouy).
