Sa palagay ko hindi naman, I've been using biodiesel for a year now and nasa normal temperature pa rin ang thermometer ko. Mas better burn lang siya dahil higher ang cetane rating niya.

nagmi-mix ba talaga yung biodiesel with diesel? kasi unang tingin ko e parang vegetable oil yung biodiesel e. para bang yung tubig e di nagmi-mix sa oil.

kaya ko rin natanong to kasi may na-observe ako sa paggamit ng biodiesel e. parang nako-consume ko yung biodiesel na inilagay ko after approx 20kms of driving. after ko mag-fill up ng 20 liters diesel and 1 liter ng biodiesel e sandali lang na magiging smooth yung takbo ng revo namin tapos after 20 kms e balik na naman sa dati.

btw, para masiguro ko na na-mix ng mabuti yung biodiesel e inilalagay ko muna yung 1 liter biodiesel pagdating ko sa gas station bago idagdag yung diesel.

ano masasabi nyo? may pareho ba kayong observation?

baligtarin mo pre...full tank ka muna bago mo ilagay biodiesel. and yes biodiesel and diesel are very compatible. it's not like an oil and water thing. both are nonpolar chemicals at are mutually soluble... check it out for yourself to be convinced. bili ka ng isang litrong diesel...haulan mo ng isang litro din ng biodiesel.

again... the main benefit of biodiesel is reduction of tailpipe emissions... yung increase in horsepower...negligible lang yun... around 2% lang yun in a benchtest that I saw. inconclusive pa kung meron nga talaga increase in power and mileage... what's conclusive is that emissions are reduced due to improved combustion of the fuel and fuel lubricity is improved = fuel lubricity will mainly lubricate the fuel pump... not the engine internals.

Ako naman biodiesel muna bago diesel, para pagpasok ng diesel sa tank nahahalo na ito.

Pareho tayo Falken mag mix ng Bio-diesel with diesel. Add ko lang na I see to it that I will be traveling once nag-mix ako. This is to stir the contents in a stop and go situation. I do not know if consistency of mixing is attained by overnight parking at garage. Can anybody from senbel or garyq give us tips for the proper mixing?

mga bros very accurate ang comments ni rsnald. Maganda ang solubility ng BD and it mixes very well sa diesel. I fill in first and bd after or sometimes naman the other way around As suggested try niyo sa maliit na quantity and you can see it mixes very well.
