Phoenix 98 Premium matapang ang amoy gas pag cold start. Is the smell indicative of fuel/additive quality? Tsaka kahit high octane na, may slight knock pa rin compared sa Petron Blaze 100 o Caltex Platinum.

I hope there will be some replies to this old thread. I own a 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Ltd with a 2.5 liter engine, and I only use fuel with an octane rating of 91 as indicated in my manual. I've noticed no significant difference in mileage if I use fuel with an octane rating of 95 or higher.

Here are my fuel mileage results for the same driving distance and terrain using different brands of fuel with an octane rating of 91:
    - Petron Xtra 91: 19 kilometers per liter
    - SeaOil 91: 15 kilometers per liter
    - UniOil 91: 14 kilometers per liter

Does this mean Petron has a purer fuel than the other brands?

I wonder if some of those stations are already implementing the voluntary 20% ethanol blend. Could explain the lower mileage (ethanol has lower energy density than gasoline).

I always choose the cheaper gas fuel along my way from home to office and it is always Petron.

Suki na sa Blaze dahil zero ethanol.
    Nate-tempt minsan mag XCS.
Pero worth it na din price diff ng cleaner fuel.
    50ppm (Euro4) vs. 5ppm (Euro6) Sulphur content.
