Mixer or Vaporizer? ... pareho bilog yun.

    I assume mixer...

Clockwise is "close", counterclockwise is "open".

    thnx

nakalimutan ko na ksi tawag dun since pinagawa ko conversion

its that huge round thing on the engine bay about 8inches in diameter and 3 inches thick. it has 2 screws, 1 big and 1 small

ito yun 2 screw na inaadjust ng installer pra timplahin yun rpm lpg mixture

i noticed pag inikot mo yun screw clockwise tataas rpm and up to agad mamamatay na yun engine. that same screw pag inikot ko naman counterclockwise tataas din idling and pag sinagad mo pa mamamatay na engine.

what is this screw? function? is this an idling screw or an air fuel mixture screw? my car is running rich matapang amoy kasi paano ba mag adjust sa screw na ito?

pati narin yun maliit na screw na ginagamitan ng screw driver paano din gamitin yun

kelanagan natin kasi matutunan mga nakalpg kung paano inadjust eto personally

    thnx again!

Personally, I would rather go to the installer or LPG fuel/service station to have the vaporizer adjusted.

Sometimes, its not the adjustment but the diaphragm (needs replacement eventually) of the vaporizer that is giving you the problem.

Check with the shop/station. Some will give the tune up service for free as long as you filled up your lpg tank from them like CLEANFUEL (along Shaw Blvd, near Nueve de Pebrero)

    Hello all,

    just to share.

i have an EU type filler.

i filled my LPG tank full and when i reached home, i heard a whistling sound at the rear and as i suspected, the filler was the culprit.

i immediately thrust the middle ball of the filler using a ballpen and voila, the whistling sound stopped.

Is this a sign that i have to change the filler?

My last LPG refill was again normal. No whistling sound.

I doubt if you need to change the filler. Maybe something got stuck inside the filler itself? Anyway, if there was something, it would be in the lpg tank by now.

    hi aamd.

    that happened to me before.

culprit: rust on the bearing ball on the filler valve that made the valve sealing ineffective. (some rusting occured after i lost my filler cap)(i suspect the gas boy did not cover it back).

my solution: after poking the filler valve, i sprayed some lubricant to fight rusting. then i got a new filler cap. (now, i uncover/cover back my filler cap to prevent losing it again coz it's not easy sourcing out a simple filler cap for lpg.)

never had the same prob anymore. my lpg kit was installed june 2008 at greenfuel too.

OT: bro, are you the one i met at speedlab before with the lpg-equipped rav4?

I see. Rust is the culprit.

Yup. I maintained an LPG RAV4 before. Sadly, i have to let go because it wont fit in my garage anymore.

Based on the Auto-LPG users list:
    http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...t=51801&page=6

There is at least one person (in tsikot) that have an Auto-LPG Fortuner.

For a Toyota Fortuner, I saw one at GreenFuel fitted with whooping 75 Liter toroidal tank, fitted like a spare tire underneath.

i'm narrowing my list of installers kasi and will have my innova converted within this month.

    TIA.

I did my own tank cage at my neighbors welding shop, it has a fabricated 2" flat bar and 1/4" round bars steel cage and bolted on the chassis, so there's no drilling on the flooring. I spent P1K for the fabrication.

I initially paid 30% on the kit and ask permission from Mike if I can bring home the tank first so that I can have my own tank mounting and they agreed. When the tank mounting was done, then I head back to Mike and paid the full amount and the installation just took less than the whole day.

So far I'm still happy and enjoying the SGI kit
