Sorry guys if I'm not able to back read the last 50+ pages.
To date, saan po pinaka ok magpainstall and which kit is the best in terms of reliability, performance, and warranty.
Planning to have my 03 Lancer MX CVT installed with LPG before this year ends.![]()
I guess that's something we've all been trying to figure out... But maybe you can start by choosing whether you would like an SGI (injected) or a ventrino system... I think the SGI is the best one for your car, if you dont mind spending so much.
As for the kit and the installers, these things we are yet to see as the market progresses. You'll have to choose from Italian, Turkish, Korean, or Indian manufacturers. I personally went to a turkish kit...
ack! double post! hmm.. what to say..
recently aquirred a sentra GX na gagawin taxi. planning on having an SGI kit installed at durasales ata. according to their installer, 50k lang ata. will have feedbacks soon. hehe!
LPG is still 40% cheaper than gasoline. The more often your use your LPG fueled vehicle, the faster you get back your investment.
So if you do 200km a week, then you could be looking at one year. If you drive less (say, around 100km a week, then it would take longer).
Converting your vehicle to run on LPG still saves you money in the medium to long term.
Now if you have some invention to make your existing vehicle go 40% further on the same amount of gasoline and costs much less than P30K, then you might have a good alternative.
If you don't believe in the cost savings of using auto-LPG, then its your loss. Think why thousands of taxi cabs are now running LPG.

not only does it save you on gas money, but more importantly, it also saves the environment. it burns cleaner than regular gasoline. less CO, NOx, particulate matters, etc.
i believe that's the best reason to convert--> save the environment
Passed by 2 lpg refilling stations this morning. Congressional Ave lpg P28.10. Seaoil, EDSA, lpg 28 pesos. Mahal na ng lpg!
try mo sa clean autogas sa Pasig, inside the Ortigas Home Depot compund at J. Vargas St. (Not the MC Home Depot along Ortigas Ave.) and/or contact Ms Sharon Siy: (0917) 8540524; (02) 9141089
Marami na ring nagiinstall ngayon. Its choosing who will be your installer and what kit they will install that's the challenge
Marami pang iba, Happy hunting![]()
