kimm, cost of my conversion is only 28thousand bucks, fuel injected...

userfriendly, naranasan ko na iyun backfire, twice pa nga while adjusting the vaporizer and the mixer... and the airfuel housing is still okay...

    haven't experienced backfire during driving...

Two companies are the most popular. Macro and NAIADSS. Macro uses the italian filling system while NAIADSS used the korea filling system. Since most of the LPG filling stations have adapters for both, its not really an issue.

As for the price, it depends on the engine size and type. Also the type of kit you want to be installed. Read this thread and most of the information should be there.

Saw a new lpg station sa E Rodriguez. Parang Clean Fuel ang pangalan, not sure. LPG selling for 22.80

Mukhang may mga new players na. Hope it continues to give lpg the chance to become a mainstream fuel in the Philippines.

Taxi explosion triggers Malate fire; 1 dead, 2 hurt

    02/12/2007 | 10:48 AM

At least one person was killed while two were injured after a taxicab exploded and started a fire at a three-storey building in Manila City early Monday morning.

Radio station dzBB reported that the taxi was draining its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank when it exploded and set fire to at least three other taxicabs and a nearby three-story building.

Fire marshal Supt. Pablito Cordeta initially identified the fatality as Manny. The injured were identified as operator Arlene de Guzman and driver Alberto Panilag.

Initial investigation showed the incident took place along Arellano Street, Malate, Manila.

The fire reached the fifth alarm before firefighters put it out at 8:30 a.m. - GMANews.TV

"draining"? Why would you need to drain a tank?

Need more info... baka defective yung installation kaya di-ne-drain.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

LPG contains a bit of moisture which will accumulate in the tank and in the evaporator/heater. Given taxi cabs need to refuel everyday or every other day, water will displace a bit of the tank's volume eventually. But venting the LPG tank should have been done in an open area.

Re: draining and cleaning LPG tanks. One auto technician told me na hindi basta basta ginagwa yan. a slight spark while draining can trigger explosion. pinapatay daw sa vinegar (or other chemical soaks, im not sure on this one) ang inside ng tank para by the time na iddrain sha it wil not be that volatile.
    just sharing

Coming from Tomas Morato, turn left past Balete Drive.

Saw another station being constructed at Congressional Ave between Collegio De San Lorenzo and Mindanao Ave.
