the company name will be said to you as soon as we have completed our requirements have been done.definitly,we will open up second week of september,in makati.we will be carrying two brands of lpg kits one is the japanese and the other is a italian brand.yes we will have the state of the art equipments to carry out all service requirements to tune your engine both in lpg and gasoline.our kits will be very competitive in the market and we will also have kits for turbocharger/supercharger and for twin weber carburator aside from the e.f.i.and carburator kits.dyno tuning will be one of the equipments that we will be having.i do not believe in not using equipments in tuning your engine in lpg or even in gasoline, because you may not be able to get the right timing and the right performance from your engine.you cannot even maximize the full power and get the right fuel economy savings,if conversion companies do not have the right equipment to service/tune there lpg kits.
to eveyone out there if you are going to convert your car to lpg, check out the shop converting lpg,if they have the right equipment and highly trained technician to do the job.do not allow your vehicles to be tampered by companies that do not know and just making it there business just to make money.check there background as much as possible, before you make the right decision where you will have your car converted.because once you have installed your vehicle and it does not perform the way you expected it to be,it will be very hard for you or for anyone to get back your moneys investment.don tbe decieved by companies offering and saying that theres is the best kits, look into the after sales service too,and check out the equipments if they do have them.

    my thanks to you guys.

Topgun, what is your fuel consumption when using petrol?

I know that it is normal to lose around 20% of your milage when using LPG. This is due to the fact that LPG has a lower energy content compared to petrol. http://www.boostlpg.co.uk/what_is/faq.htm#3 However, this is more than made up by the price difference between petrol and lpg.

I just called Ambi Ent., it's P80,000 + 12%VAT to convert F150 to LPG (bi-fuel), too costly for me.

AJSNZ... can you PM me if you have an lpg kit/system for an 8-cylinder engine equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor? My worry with an LPG system is "power loss!"

Hi Woodfire, thanks to your inquiry about the lpg kits for 8-cylinder equipped with a four barrel carburetor, yes we will be carrying also lpg kits for four barrel carburetor, for twin side weber carburetor, and for tubocharger/supercharger lpg kits, aside from the e.f.i.and carburator standard lpg kits ,we will be having.
May i know if you have an installed lpg kit already in your V8 engine? Or ar you planning to install one? how much power loss are you encountering in terms of percentage between gasoline and lpg? if you have already installed a lpg kit in your vehicle? power loss can attribute to three things woodfire, one is improper tuning of your engine using lpg.most shops that i have known specially converting lpg,do not know how to get and balance the right timing they often use the method of not using equipments, and use the feel type method.secondly, power loss could also attribute to the vaporizer and regulator not matching to the right corresponding engine displacement,it could be that the vaporizer/regulator is too small to handle the supply of lpgas to your engine, and so with your mixer that is placed on top of your carburetor, the vaporizer and mixer must match your engine size to get the maximum power you need.lastly, one of the reasons of power loss, is improper installation of lpg kit in your vehicle too.most shops dont study well the positioning of the vaporizer/regulator when they convert,it is not a matter of installing it and its done.this concept of just installing the vaporizer anywhere is not the right procedure, certainly you will experience alot of power loss and poor fuel economy.
Should you have more questions, feel free to write me,and i will gladly be here to help you anytime.thank you very much.

No, I have not yet installed an LPG system but read somewhere that one can expect a power loss. Anyways, I do intend to install an LPG system in my old classic. It has a Ford small-block V8 engine, 4-barrel carburetor and a 4.7 liter displacement.

Please email me at woodfire*info.com.ph as soon as you have a good system and tuning tools. I don't want to experience "power/torque loss" with the LPG system, hence, your tuning tools will be a great help.

Btw, a system I know of uses two vaporizers for V8-carbureted muscle engines

To carb guys, expect a 5-10% decrease in power and the same percentage INCREASE in mileage. However, LPG is a cheaper fuel....hence the validity of savings.

To EFI guys, no change in power and just a slight increase in mileage. I was at Ambient today they made a template for my W124, sadly I have to wait for the toroidal (donut) shaped tank. So, it's October for me...
