dumb question.
if the NAIDSS system is a "dumb carburetor" type of LPG system, why not use the existing EFI system?
e.g. from LPG tank, have an expansion valve of some sort to reduce the pressure to the typical levels used in EFI cars (40psi?) then just connect that directly to the normal EFI fuel rail.
that way, it's the EFI which ends up deciding how much "gas" (or in this case, LPG) to dispense via the duration it toggles the injectors.
or is that exactly how the NAIDSS works? because if so, why is there a need for a separate LPG carburetor?
It may actually be more of the engine is getting flooded. If you recall that at idle it's overly rich. So switching over from LPG to gasoline may mean that for a brief instant that are simultaneously being injected.
Revving it before doing so will hopefully "empty" the engine of the LPG to make room for gas.
Just a guess tho' since we're not really that familiar with how the system work.
Auto_Xer and Fusion R iisa lang ba iyan?
located sa e. rodriguez, quezon city...:drive1: thanks...
In an ideal world, the LPG system should use the existing injectors, etc.
Adapting the NAIADSS system to fit to use existing EFI system would require custom work in virtually every car. That will take lots of time and money per car.
The NAIADSS LPG kit system is basically a kit designed to fit most cars without any modification (except some cutting for the plumbing) to the car. It does the job as long as you don't ask too much from it. (and you remember to adjust the ignition timing).
I just had a cover done to mask up the tank in the trunk. No pics since it was finished a bit late (6:30pm) and it was a bit dark for my celfone camera to take a good pic.
The trunk wall was done in three pieces. The left & right side panels are fixed and the middle part is removable with a circular "port" to fit around the LPG meter. Also fitted around the "port" is a speaker grill to hide the LPG meter.
I'll take a pic tomorrow.![]()
ghosthunter saan ka nag pagawa ng cover?
i need to have my tank cover made too how much was the damage and where? please pm me the shop thanks
Ako im very happy with my present set up tipid ako sa gas hahhaha =)
chuaed i will post pictures of my engine within the week as soon as i have time so that makita mo yung ginawa nila sa civic ko
Favor lang yung tuning. He also was interesting in LPG and getting some info about it.
From what info I got, you can do the same at any gasoline station. All you'll need is some ignition timing adjustment. Add 10 degrees advance timing to your current timing. The a/f adjustments didn't get to anywhere, we went back to the original setting after a few trials.
I am not sure if I will get better fuel milage though.

nakapunta na ako sa shop niya, purchased a blue raizin volt stabilizer... and have them quote for installation/customization of cold air intake for my car...
but a friend of mind advice against installing cold air intake coz my car is automatic...
carwise: Are you implying that you can source out this more modern LPG conversion system? Please elaborate.
(Side note: Please add some spaces in between your sentences, hirap po basahin dikit-dikit)
