Auto-LPG Conversion Thread

Hello I have similar problem.

I'm a newbie with auto-LPG.

I'm adding it to my Mazda diesel B2500 as a project.

I got an LPG tank with fill and multi-valve, as well as injectors and ECU control via MegaSquirt 2 v3.0 which I just assembled.

I also got a 2nd hand Nissan-Nikki vaporizer from a Japanese forklift.

I need some help with the plumbing of the vaporizer.

It doesn't have any part numbers or any other associated identification marks.

Would really appreciate it if someone can point out the water inlet - outlet, LPG inlet-outlet as well as the function of the various screws and valves on it.

Sir Nick, baka matuloy na yung Gen1 CRV project ko. Meron ba stock nang donut tank na sakto under the picnic table? Is modification needed? Please pm me quotation for the conversion.

papauwi ko na auto lpg-equipped 1993 nissan sentra ko sa probinsya at wala naman auto gas station doon. meron po ba kayo alam na pwede magtanggal (at interesado na rin bumili) ng aking lpg kit? kit is eroom closed loop system with 40 liter toroidal tank installed by coolmate/denso makati in 2008. salamat po.

Mga ka-tsikoteers, i'm looking for pre-owned closed-loop LPG conversion kit with EFI emulator (like Eroom system from Coomate/Denso) pref. with toroidal tank. Gagamitin po sa project car. Nakakabit pa po sana para ma-test.

The Vogas kits from your rivals, has this dual SGI system allowing both LPG and petrol to be injected simultaneously, therefore allowing both fuel systems to be active. My understanding here is that by allowing the petrol system to be busy will keep its fuel lines intact and that the petrol will burn or clean up any impurities that the LPG side might bring. The ECU can be programmed to set how much LPG and petrol to be injected.

Do you have kits similar to this?

parang defeats the purpose ata kung sabay petrol ata LPG ........ i've had LPG system for several years .... no problems with the petrol system .... i haven't even changed the fuel filter for a long time since i hardly use petrol .... nagagamit naman palagi ang petrol system since you have to use petrol to start your engine kaya di naman ma clogged petrol system and LPG burns cleaner daw.

The Vogas kit has the option of using both systems simultaneously, or let the lpg system take over after the engine is warmed up. Should be no problem, in either mode.

Ask ko Lang how heavy is the donut tank? Hindi ba affected ang fuel economy because of the additional weight inside the car?
One more thing, can LPG equipped vehicles be installed with a turbo kit? Is there an e.c.u for tuning LPG powered engine, and Is this safe too

Hi. Id just lyk to know if viable to convert my 07 ford xplorer edie bauer to lpg? It runs at 4km/l city driving thats why it's only used twice a wk: coding of the other car and as sunday car.. How much will it set me back and is it worth it in terms of roi? Tnx in advance.. Also, tried and tested na ba ang auto lpg and di naman mgkkaproblema sa auto, particularly in terms of power or cost of maintenance? Id apreciate your xperiences and feedbacks, Tnx again

Seems that auto lpg is dying a slow death, not much user in the private community, also not much in the public sector. Andaming lpg taxi ang ma phase out ngayon, most of them are lovelife models.

Pero im still sticking with my lpg toyota gli lovelife, converted it at 110thou km mileage and now its nearing 180k mileage. Thats 70thou km and 4yrs on pure lpg and problem free operation.

xoom quoted me 40k for an sgi kit with toroidal tank for a 1.3 vios. that was 3 years ago

leaktest lang every two months. Dun sa lpg detector ako nagpapacheck, minsan kasi di nakikita sa soaptest ang micro leaks.

Usually leaks galing lang sa lumulutong na rubber hoses.

And change coolant every year. Yun kasi ang sumisira sa rubber seals ng vaporizer.
