It can be converted... you'll just have to check with the Auto-LPG installer if they have the proper kit for your vehicle. It is safe. Only downside with carb engines is that you have to "empty" the carb before you can switch over to Auto-LPG operation. This means you cannot just switch directly from gasoline to LPG (or vice versa), there will be an intermediate phase.

Their system is co-researched and manufactured in Korea with OEM qualifications in mind.
PM me if interested. I will give a very special price for the conversion.

Hi sirkosero the 1.3 Vios and the 1.4 Accent that we are targeting are the most common vehicles used for cabs. We want to convert and test them to run our system since they are also the most reported vehicles encountering issues after conversion. We have since then replaced the BMD kit and upgraded it with the all new SMILE from Zavoli Italy. It is an SGI kit with an advance feature "Petrol Addition" that allows small amounts of gasoline to be injected on certain injection times on selected RPM ranges to refrigerate the engine and help cool the cars valve seats. OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer.
    Cheers!

My sgi system has that "petrol addition" feature that would activate on the preset time. But this Momentary activation would result in a hiccup of the engine. That would not be good if it happens while overtaking. So i opt to have the feature disabled.

Would your newer system have that problem?

thanks for the update. isnt this similar to vogas?

Sir if i may ask, what are the usual complaints of vios and accent drivers? rereading the thread, i was under the impression that there should be no issues on the hotter valves.

It's a Petrol addition to the LPG or it cycles to Petron for a few seconds every 10-15mins? In my SGI equipped Altis, i cured the difference in feel from gas to LPG with some tuning and primarily by using Petron Blaze for my gasoline requirements since the octane rating is closer to the LPG octane and it doesnt deteriorate over time since Blaze doesnt have an ethanol mix.

Generally, Auto-LPG conversion is applicable for gasoline engines.

Adapting LPG to existing diesel engines is more complicated and expensive.

What do you guys think will be more economical in the long run?

Getting an old 4x4 SUV/AUV in gasoline and convert it into LPG, or get an old diesel SUV of the same model?

    example:

    Pajero gas/lpg vs. diesel
    Trooper gas/lpg vs. diesel
    Terrano gas/lpg vs. diesel
    Patrol gas/lpg vs. diesel
    Adventure gas/lpg vs. diesel
    Revo gas/lpg vs. diesel

Kasi I noticed that these types of vehicles tend to consume a lot of gasoline. Sometimes their diesel counterparts are more efficient liter by liter. Of course lpg is cheaper than diesel, and maintenance wise, masOK ang LPG. I am looking at the vehicle for possible better resistance sa floods, in which case baka masOK ang diesel, pero kung mataas naman talaga yung sasakyan, I think the gas/lpg cars will manage just as well. What do you guys advice?

It would be better if you would choose an efi gas SUV. less worries and more efficient. A 2.7 VVTI fortuner would suit me just fine

been using my lpg equipped EK since 2008 and until now i can say na napakalaki na ng saving ko dito. im planning to get a honda city 2006-2008 model. ang plano ko sana i dismantle yung current lpg ko para ito naman ang ikakabit ko sa 2nd hand car na plano kong bilhin.

    my question will be:

The tank is in the trunk which is part of the cabin. If it leaks, it will enter the cabin. Could it be that the the tank's pipes and other critical hardware are exposed, which can be scratched, pulled or yanked by bags, luggages or anything that gets stashed in there. The final solution would be to use a donut tank and mount on the spare wheel well which is outside of the cabin. Problem is, most car's spare wheels are in the trunk, thus part of the cabin
