I also practice this in the morning (cold start); i run on gasoline and keep the rpm below 2K and auto switch to LPG when i hit the main road outside our subdivision. I load up around P 300-P350 worth of gas every two weeks.

Lets say na 7mm long ang injjectors while ang thickness ng intake manifold is 5mm. yung difference na 2mm is naka portrude ngayon sa luob ng manifold. That was the case in a crv,, ewan ko lang sa innova. Intake runners should be smooth as possible for free flowing air.

Yung issue mo na walang power during sudden quick stepping on the gas pedal, yes I do experience them once in while but I already learned to dealt with it since our ride has electronic gas pedal and response has delay even on pure gasoline. You just need to prime it a bit before stepping hard.

    thank you again.

Hi guys! would like to update everyone on the price increase of Auto LPG effective today. Pump price is at 34.90 on most stations. Winter time in EU drives up the world price.

Where did you have your fuel lines cleaned? Did they flush out the gas lines with a solvent? My car runs great on lpg but can't seem to keep the engine running when on gas. I already replace the fuel pump, fuel filter and distributor, cleaned the intake manifold, changed the spark plugs but the problem still persists. Parang nalulunod pag gas gamit ko hanggang mamamatay nalang yung makina. I was thinking baka yung fuel lines nagbara na din.

How old is your gasoline? And what gasoline do you have in your tank? (Shell Unleaded? Caltex Silver?, etc)

My gas normally lasts for about 1-2 months between refills of P500. I usually put Shell Premium. I'm really having a hard time with my engine. A mechanic told me recently that this is because of the LPG that destroys the pistons. I'm not sure if he's just discouraging me with my kit or if he's really telling the truth.

In a way he is correct but only IF your LPG kit was set improperly. Taxi drivers somethings adjust the LPG settings to be too-lean, resulting in long term damage to the engine.

As long as your air-fuel ratio in LPG and gasoline are within the correct range, your engine will do fine.

BTW, I use either TOTAL PROTEC or PETRON BLAZE in my gas tank. Lasts more than four-five months and still runs smooth.

In my case, my metal fuel line between the tank and engine was clogged almost solid. I had my tank cleaned out but the metal fuel line under the car had to be replaced because the dirt inside has practically solidified. Before it was replaced, my car had a hard time maintaining high revs.

This could be the same with your car.

This is exactly what I am thinking of. I had almost everything that is gas related checked and replaced worn out parts and still the same behavior. The metal fuel lines underneath may have been clogged for a while so my engine's idle is very erratic. Even a 1500 rpm is difficult to sustain. I tried pressing the gas pedal about halfway and the engine would still have a hard time revving. It would sometimes gradually rev up to 3000-4000 rpm as if getting enough fuel and then slowly go back to its erratic idling.

GH, why do you no longer recommend greenfuel? Are they closing shop?

apart from my not so good experience with a lady from greenfuel and their website is always down i thought they are still a good company
