Yup, 200km/h should be ok, specially at NLEX or SCTEX. What's crazier for me is he had his brand spanking new CRV converted to LPG already. Goodbye engine warranty.

    Depends on what is crazier.

Saving P50K to P100K annually for the life of the vehicle or saving money by keeping the new vehicle parked in the garage five days out of every week and just commute to your destination.

We do offer changing your filler units to Italian type if needed. Hope this helps!
sir how much do you charge (labor and materials) for conversion of filler unit from bayonet type to italian type (is this the same as the 'euro' type?) and how long would it take doing such conversion? TIA

anybody here in this thread carrying a tire-fix-in-a-can instead of the usual spare tire? (spare tire is quite heavy and so is the toroidal tank.) is it effective? how long before it expires? what's the cost and where to get one? even a well maintained tire (together with good driving habits) would experience being flat at least once in their lifetime, so i suppose.

I bought a space saver spare tire to replace my full sized spare. It still weighs a bit but the difference in size meant I could stuff the tools and other stuff around the tire.

I did have a tire-fix-can many years ago. It did work by plugging a puncture and inflating my tire enough to get rolling. It was around a year and a half old by the time I used it. Note: avoid "testing" the can because it might get clogged or the gas pressure leaked out.

to all auto-gas users with 'bayonet' type filler units (or at least eroom filler units): tried to fill up this morning at my usual lpg station and was told that they no longer have the adapter for such filler unit (they call this NAIADSS) as this was already 'outlawed' as per DOE order and it goes daw with other lpg stations as well. what they only have now is the italian type. (this was also taken up here by xoomaster, who likewise offers conversion.) another pain in the pocket eh?

The one I got looks somewhat like the one below except it's painted in a shade of dull yellow.

I bought it from the auto-shops along Evangelista for P1,300. You can try your luck there or along Araneta/Bawawe area. Make sure the holes would fit your car.

Good thing I had my filler valve converted from the "bayonet"/NAIADSS to the Euro/Italian style filler two months ago at GREENFUEL.

At least the conversion of the filler isn't that expensive. Just a pain in the ass to remove a perfectly good valve.

Is there a reason why the bayonet is banned?

i think that the change in filler from bayonet (korean)type to italian should be free, DOE should order all the authorized autolpg installer with korean filler type to issue a recall without charging their client!!!

korek ka dyan sir. hope it works that way. kaso dun sa installer ko they'll still charge 1.3k for the conversion. di naman daw nila kasalanan yun. they were caught flat-footed daw by the DOE circular. sayang din 1.3k. two weeks din na lpg refill yun para sakin.

I'm sure someone from DOE got paid. This is nonsense.

Problem ko is that if I have my filler converted, the Italian pump nozzle may not fit, and reach the valve.
