Yes this is possible. You should request for an External Donut type tank. For an Innova a 55-65 liter should suffice. The tricky part here is finding one. We recently ran out as well and will have stock sometime next month. This type of tank should also be fitted with a zero degree multivalve.

Sa ilalim talaga nilalagay yung Donut tank, sa puwesto ng spare tire. In this manner there's now way you can smell LPG inside your cabin, what's inside the cabin was only electricals and ECU. The spare tire can be fitted at the back of the 3rd row seats, just secure it with straps and floor stoppers.

For Innova its the 50 liters donut tank can fit perfectly, it has the same diameter and thickness of the 205x65x15 tire. GreenFuel's donut tank comes factory fitted with multi valve already. Fuel level indicator can be adjusted by ECU programming so there's no manual floater gauge level calibration.

BTW, there's a metallic green Innova in that compound that is always parked there and its LPG equipped.

nde pa po ..... guesstimating pa lang ako .... cylindrical tank po aken .... basta unang kuha ko ng auto nag fill up ako 40liters .... 4 na LED umiilaw .... so full nga .... after 92kms na as of today .... 2 LEDS na lang umiilaw =( .... anyway observahan ko pa siguro since nde naman ata talga accurate yang LED guage. Siguro pag 2nd fill up ko na i'll be able to calculate the real FC .

Anyways ask ko lang ? na ca calibrate ba tong SGI ?

Yes the guage is an indicator only. We can calibrate the guage to actually blink early or late depending on the driver's request but we usually bring it early as auto-lpg stations are not as common as petrol stations. If you really want to get the real fc you should use up the whole tank and calculate your real driven km.

okay thanks for the input sir bigMIKE ..... i guess i'll wait to use up the whole tank before i can actually make a better guesstimate of the FC.

While i was filling up kasi at around 38+ liters sabi nung nag f fill sir malapit na mag full ... kasi ata bumagal na yung meter nila .... nung 39+ na sabi ko pwede na yan baka sumabog na hehehehe.

I'm not sure of the actual capacity of my cylindrical tank kung 40 ba or 60 ?

I find it really difficult to compute for a reliable FC. This has been discuss previously, but LPG pumps seem to have a tendency to stop depending on its remaining contents. So kung marami pang LPG, then it can really fill your tank up to the desired full tank level (~85% of tank capacity). Pero kung konti na lang LPG sa pump, mabilis yata mag-equalize ang pressure, so nag-s-stop o no-flow na agad.

In my last fill, nag-stop na at 40liters, tapos 3 lights lang yung switch indicator (and 2/3 lang sa tank gauge). I was expecting about 48 liters to be loaded. Mukhang konti na lang laman nung nagpa-fill ako. Nagmukhang low FC tuloy ang computation ko, but I know it's not accurate.

Sa Petron C5/Valle Verde ako nagpapa-fill. Isa lang naman pump ng Xceed dun.

suggestion lang eto, try mo ubusin laman ng LPG mo hanggan mamatay ang makita, then full tank mo LPG ulit (hingi ka receipt indicating iyun liters kinargahan), tapos reset mo iyun trip meter to zero then gamitin mo hanggan maubos ng sagad hanggan sa mamamatay na makina mo... doon ka mag compute para malaman mo iyun exact fuel consumption...

note: pag naubos na at namatay makina, switch mo ulit sa gasoline... whag kalimutan sulat mo sa receipt iyun naka register sa trip meter mo then compute mo later...

    gud am po,

am thinking din po of converting my car to lpg

is it really worth the installation costs and the usual headaches (as i back-read through some pages here) that comes with modifying a petrol car to run on lpg?

    thanks po

yes it's all worth it. i think 95% who enlisted themselves having their car/s converted to bi-fuel (petrol+LPG) are satisfied and are now enjoying the savings...yes, it is true that some problems occur to some, but our installers find ways to address those problems...plus we have the sensei of AutoLPG here, Ghosthunter, and the whole LPG conversion community helping each other to solve every problems regarding our LPG kit and our ride...
