The list is a way to find out who has already converted (and separating from the ones who are still thinking about it. It is also a handy way to find out what vehicle he has converted to auto-lpg. Call it a "tool" to further help other people who are still deciding to get some sort of feedback on conversion done on a similar car he has or solve problems from another tiskot member with a similar lpg equipped vehicle.
true... but blindly suggesting things to do or check seems not helping much.paolorenzo is going through hell with his conversion.
Shouldn't every one be more concerned with finding solutions to his predicament?
Unfortunately, it's only greenfuel, eroom and greengas that are active in this thread at one time or another.I brought up accreditation issue. bigMIKE was the only one who responded.
Aside from making people aware that auto-lpg is a viable solution, other reasons had been mentioned above.Isn't the roll call exclusivist? I suggest creation of Club Lpg or LPG Club thread or whatever for this social exchanges.
And nearly three years of keeping it alive. You're welcome.108 pages. That's how far this thread has gone.
ei dude...the one in mindanao ave is green autogas owned by sharon. ok din dun, dun ako nagpapa autoLPG refill lagi kasi mas mura. wala pa naman ako nababasa dito sa thread na nagkaron ng prob dun sa greenautogas...SGI kit din kasi karamihan ang installs nila e pero they also have the open loop. and if you really want big mike's kit, alam ko speedlab also has big mike's LPG kit e...and/or may LPG mechanic/ installer din dun siguro si big mike sa speedlab
Why not simply consider installing your Carade with a venturi-type LPG kit? The only limitation I see if you can find a donut tank small enough to fit in the spare tire well (35 or 40L donut tank might fit... the same size that can fit in a Getz). The only major limitation of having a carb engine is the petrol/LPG switch-over cannot be done on-the-fly.
Having the conversion shop nearby will help you when something goes wrong with the LPG system. The biggest chance of problems appearing is when the system is still new since it's a combination of any existing problem of the car added to any auto-lpg installation or setup errors/mistakes.I live in QC, was considering to visit the one in Mindanao Ave kasi mas malapit pero based sa nababasa ko dito eh parang mas gusto ko yung conversion shop sa Mandaluyong, not because the other was inferior, but because of testimonies here & our "LPG priest" had one or more of his ride converted there. :D
Although Greengas isn't as visible in the discussions, I think they also do a good job of installation auto-lpg kits.
Thanks ezem and ghosthunter.
I'm sure your leads will help to permanently get us back on track here.
Eager to be on the list, ghosthunter.

guys me again with the 1.3L city type z conversion from EROOM. Still no luck with my Fuel Consumption. i had them retune it twice. switched back from an aftermarket air filter to my stock air filter. Made sure my air filter is clean. Changed to a colder spark plug. (also from denso) and yet i only improved from 7km to 8 kms per liter. that is still too far from the 12-13km i get before from petrol. I drive the same route and the same driving style i used to. i'm already having doubts with the mechanics from eroom. ano pa kaya pwede ko gawin? if i could just get 10 km/liter masaya na ako.
btw i'm having the same problem as paolo. rough idling on full stop. although hindi naman namamatayan, pero sobrang manginig. my tachometer drops 200-300 rpm on full stop and starts shaking hard.![]()
sir, why not try to bring it to EROOM's David Do at Highway54 infront of megamall...
if anyone else has problems regarding Eroom conversion...try to contact David Do for appointment

hi ezem, Yes i'm planning to do that. will try to contact david do tomorrow. i did read your post on the previous page. very helpful tlaga tong thread na to.![]()
i just wanted to ask as well sila sir GH at BigMike baka may ibang inputs pa sila. Para at least may alam akong sasabak sa mga mechanic ng eroom. i'm really after Fuel efficiency. un ung main reason kung bakit ako nagswitch to LPG. i really don't care that much about power loss as long as i get better mileage.
di ko naman ineexpect na maging pareho sila ng petrol. kahit maging close man lang sana.
Cons,
Majority of the cars installed with an LPG kit didn't really get better mileage. I have an SGI kit and the last time I filled up I only got 8km/l vs my previous 9-9.5km/l. Though I think that the FC is slowly improving as the kit is slowly being adapted by my car.
The main difference you will feel is the cost of fuel (LPG vs Petrol) which is almost half.
I talked to someone and said that his sentra, which was getting 5km/l on petrol, initially got 3km/l in LPG mode. It took him quite a while to achieve his 5km/l. Pang ilang gas-up mo na yan bro?

*leatherman. Idling problem is indeed a hassle, but I wouldn't call it "hell" just yet. No regrets here. I love my LPG conversion, most especially after every full tank. My wallet breaths a sigh of relief every time.
*ezem, salamat sa info kay David, and for giving him a heads-up. Will definitely schedule a trip to Highway54 soon.
*cons_fy, sabay na kaya tayo dumalaw kay David? LPG conversion will commonly result to an increase in FC, but only to about 10% max. Yung Revo ko lost just about that, from 5km/liter down to 4.5km/liter.
LPG runs hotter, correct? Will switching to a thicker viscosity oil also help? I'm currently using 10W-30 (specified on my Revo's manual). I'm thinking of using 10W-40 (or 20W-50) on my next change oil, since it's meant for a higher heat range?
Pao,
I am also considering putting in better coolants. Im still waiting for a feedback from a fellow tsikoteer where to get one.
Pero the engine system will adapt naman. Your thermo and fan will be triggered more often to compensate the added heat.
You can try having it your car checked at Speedlab. Although they cannot tune the auto-lpg system itself, they the equipment to check your car if it's running lean or rich.
Redline water wetter is a better collant but personally I just use the coolant (glycoshell) from the Shell gasoline station.
Using a thicker oil would result in increased FC. LPG might run hotter but I think not that much hotter to require thicker oil.

Aside from Redline's wetter water, you can also try Royal Purple's Purple Ice. I got mine from Speedyfix. Pero it's just an additive. You still need to use your usual coolant/anti-rust. So I use Purple Ice as an additive to Caltex Extended Life Coolant (Toyota fluids are actually Caltex fluids).
pwede kaya magkaroon ng Thread regarding sa mga unsatisfied or problem encountered regarding LPG convertion and their solution to the said problem...
Kasi ako sa ngayon satisfied naman ako sa conversion ko kaso when I switch from LPG to Gas parang sakal yung takbo at first 3 try then It will normalize after wards... or When I'm about to switch from gas to LPG ganun din yung nagiging symptoms kasi I have to Rev my engine to 2500 RPM... So 1st try hindi siya aabot sa 2500 RPM..
BTW before I get 9Km/L now I get 8.5km/L
Your car: 1996 Nissan B14 A/t (Venturi-mixer close loop - eroom) - taken from the ROLL CALL thread.
It's typical that a venturi-mixer system to have "sakal" feeling when initially switching from LPG to gasoline in a car equipped with an EFI engine. The reason is the venturi-mixer supplies LPG to the intake air. At the moment of switching LPG to petrol, there will still be a volume of air/LPG mixture inside your intake manifold. It will take a couple of seconds or so (depending on the engine's RPM) to "process" the air/lpg mixture.
The time when your engine is trying to burn air/lpg with gasoline running, it is running extremely rich, hence the few moments of "sakal" feeling. Don't worry because it's normal with the LPG system we have.
SGI systems doesn't encounter this because the amount of LPG inside the intake manifold is only a fraction as compared to venturi-mixer systems.
