    Precisely my point! For those who are afraid of converting because of the so called "power-loss", the difference in power will not be enough to be detrimental to your driving needs .

    I just dropped by an lpg station along E. rodriguez, they're selling the autolpg at P29.49 while the nearby petron was selling gasoline at around P53.++

    auto lpg: 29.40/li
    unleaded: 53.57/li

    that's 45% cheaper na. . .


    *paolorenzo, yes, petron wack wack does accept cedit cards even for auto lpg purchases

    and most independent auto-lpg station do give away freebies just ask the gas boys

    It is really hard to imagine with such price disparity that there are still some people not convinced with auto-lpg.

    im pretty convinced that going lpg is the way of the future.

    presyo nalang pinag iisipan ko mabuti. mukang sgi is the best pero ang mahal. matagal ang ROI.

    pag closed system naman, mukang hindi ganon ka okay. (or is it?)

    unahin ko muna crv namin. super gas guzzler to kasi e.

    for those with experience with lpgs, ano the best dapat pakabit ko?

    same here. . .still weighing between the sgi and the cheaper kits. . .
    na-convince ko na si bossing ko who had been a skeptic as late as last weekend lang. . .then she aksed for people who had made the shift so i sent her this link . . .this morning, she couldn't argue with the 45% price difference. . .now, ang pinag-uusapan na lang namin is how to make the initial cost as painless as possible. . .

    GREENFUEL has a downpayment plan. Others might have similar "easy payment" plans.

    As for the better auto-LPG system, the SGI kit is still much better than the openloop or closedloop systems. Retains stock engine performance and no additional maintenance. Although it does cost more, it will still repay for itself in a few more months as compared to the cheaper venturi-mixer LPG kits.

    Just a reminder: auto-LPG will only save you on the difference in price per liter. Whatever fuel consumption of your car, it will generally still be the same after conversion.

    I,m new here just joined two days ago and ask why Landirenzo and Tartarini SGI are very much more expensive than what I,m reading in this forum. Tnx.

    i called green fuel. they suggested me to get mixer type. costs 24k.
    i called autogas. they suggested me to get sgi type. costs 40k. if i want donut type. add 5k.

    this is for crv2000. i think this doesnt have oxygen sensor.

    alin kaya dito mas ok?

    You are paying for the BRAND name aside from the kit.

    1st gen CRV can use the mixer or sgi...

    The problem is the space for the tank if you want to get the donut. With "minor" alternation to the storage under the picnic table area, you can fit a 40L donut tank. It would also cost you extra for that alternations to be done.

    I suggest to get the mixer type kit with donut tank option from GREENFUEL. Check back with them because I think they know someone who can do the "minor" alternations to your CRV to fit in the donut tank.

    If you don't want any alternations done, you will have to live with a standard cylinder tank in your CRV's storage area, leaving you will almost no cargo space.

    open-loop and closed-loop are both mixer types. The only difference is the O2 sensor which feeds back for the closed-loop system.

    That only means that for you to use a closed loop or SGI kit, you need to have an O2 sensor added. I had the same problem with my Revo, which also doesn't have a stock oxygen sensor. Which is the reason why I decided on EROOM, which included the add-on O2 sensor with the kit.

    Pero I think the open-loop mixer type kit (with EFI emulator) will also be ok for your purpose. Medyo malaki na rin kasi ang price difference eh (22k vs 28k), but the performance difference shouldn't be much. With the open-loop kit, you can also opt for a toroidal/donut tank, and still end up with savings.

    yes open loop and closed loop uses the same system except the addition of an oxygen sensor. If you could live with out an oxygen sensor which most of us do then an open loop system should be ok for an efi engine. Whether open loop or closed loop,the adjustments are basically the same on the system.

    Mr. GH, I also own a Mazda 3, still under warranty. I'm seriously considering conversion. If your car is also under warranty, was it voided? If not not, who did you speak to? I spoke with Mazda Greenhills and all they told me was they are going to consult with their Big Boss in Santa Rosa. It has been a week and still no word from Mazda.

    I fortunately saw the news feature of the demo to the Makati Jeepney Assoc. and Mayor Binay.....the 100T i believe includes the surplus gasoline engine of the DYNA and ELF-class already converted and installed on the Jeepney.....probably reasonable considering the lack of standardization of jeepneys.

    Our Mazda3 is under extended warranty (the original warranty expired and we opted to extend the warranty period for a small price).


    If not not, who did you speak to? I spoke with Mazda Greenhills and all they told me was they are going to consult with their Big Boss in Santa Rosa. It has been a week and still no word from Mazda.
    Based on our secretary (she's the one who spoke with them) the extended warranty will be honored.
