Thanks
SGI-LPG kits inject the LPG right before the intake valves of the cylinders. The flow rate is adjusted by the feedback from the oxygen sensor of the car. Amost no power drop at higher RPMs.

Closed loop mixer kits still have a mixer donut which flows LPG into the air intake. The closed loop system adjusts the amount of LPG flow based on the oxygen sensor of the car. Some minor power drop at the higher RPMs.

The difference is the SGI system offers more accurate air-fuel mixtures than closed loop system. The advantage of closed loop is its cheaper and provides less power loss than an open loop system.

Installation of an SGI system takes about two days at GREENFUEL. It was also estimated to take two days for DENSO/EROOM closed loop LPG kits. Open loop kits take a half a day to a full day to install by most installers.

SGI offers better power and fuel economy but closed loop systems are not that far behind. But in the end, the difference is made by the final tuning of the LPG system.
