For carb-type, medyo di na nagkaka-iba ang mga kits ng installers. Isang factor na lang siguro yung malapit sa iyo, para di hassle ang tune-ups/check-ups? Also consider the warranties, and type of tank/installation you want.

bigMike is from Mandaluyong, Sharon is Mindanao Ave (near North Edsa), Denso Coolmate is in Pasong Tamo Makati naman. Ang Macro meron sa Valenzuela along McArthur Highway, and meron rin sila installer sa CRaymundo Pasig in front of Arlington. Naiadss naman sa Pioneer in Pasig-Mandaluyong.

Buti ka pa sir, walang problema sa budget...

Sometimes something is expensive only because of the currency exchange rate is expensive.

Currently we are having a number of our vehicles fitted with SGI-LPG kits from GREENFUEL. Typical installation takes two days. Vehicles include Honda City 1.3L iDSi, Mazda3 1.6L and a 2nd gen Honda CRV 2.0L ... so far so good.

Even the auto-LPG kit I have in my car was a basic kit from NAIADSS. More than 1.5 year later, so far everything is working well.

Most of the parts in the kit are pretty much alike. However kit suppliers usually buy parts from different factories and consolidate them and put their brand on these kits even if the parts are not all made by them. We at Greenfuel evaluate the factories that produce the parts and only buy the part that the factory are expert in producing. The savings we pass unto our customers.

Thanks for your input! I still have to fix a part in my car first. I think it is the IACV. I am observing it because it has just been cleaned. After a lot of trial and error fix ups from Ford, I think this is the reason for my dramatic loss of power and mileage. From 6.5 km/liter, it went down to 5 km/liter!

The location from which the kits are made make part of the price difference in the same way that european cars dont have the same price tag as chinese cars.

Usually, the Italian kits are most expensive (Macro), while the korean and other asian kits are cheapest. In the middle are the Turkish kits which Sharon (Green Autogas) and mike (Greenfuel) sell.

I recommend you take a look at the materials used in each kit brand. The metal used may be different (like the way cheap screwdrivers vs. Stanley screwdrivers work), their tubings, and perhaps company experience (how long has the manufacturer been around). In my case, I liked the way the Aldessa kits (from Sharon) were formed and molded, they're also the oldest manufacturer among the Turkish brands.

Huhuhu, may discrimination sa Trinoma Mall for LPG powered vehicles...

I wasn't allowed to use their building parking because my car was running on LPG. This is discrimination!!!

Anyway, I was only allowed to use their open space parking which was cheaper

I suppose Ayala is afraid the LPG will blow up another one of their malls, but in reality, the Glorietta blast was blamed partly on a Diesel Tank, not LPG...

I guess my tank's "disguise" might come in handy when I go to park at Trinoma Mall.

I don't know how form and mold make a difference in a kit. I think what it really boils down is performance and reliability and affordability. Most european kits pass through a certification process which are uniform for all kits that are sold and exported from europe including Turkey and Italy. I am not an expert on metal but I guess if you weigh each component there should be a slight variance. And as far as copper tubing is concerned this is pretty standard 6mm and/or 8mm with a specific thickness.

I just had my car's emmission test done

HC is 322 (limit is 800), CO is 3.8 (limit is 4.5). My last oil change was last November or December pa. ang sad nga lang is that I didnt test it anymore for the gasoline... it would have had a very nice comparison.

Ghost Hunter, anong disguise sa tank mo? I dont think my idea of printing a skull and bones pattern on the tank then putting the words "Highly Explosive!!!"... then the words "Connect detonator here ----> " will work, will it?

Or will painting it Green and putting the letters NOx on it will work...

does converting my car to LPG affects its resale value? Either it will go up or go down?
