Cetane ratings would apply in this case instead of Octane rating and I'm not sure if they share the same. I will double check soon.
Either way, the regular diesel at all three brands are what I have tried so far.

True. Baka lahat Placebo lang. I don't know. Using Phoenix's unleaded on the Explorer though ok naman, and I felt the same performance as unleaded from Caltex, Shell, WilOil. Haven't compared it to Petron's unleaded.

i have felt this, when i tried out other fuel brands.
initially, i thought there was a difference.
but in the end, pareho lang naman ang km/li nila.

my choice of fuel now is semi-dependent on convenience and ... price.

Switched to Phoenix 98 from Petron XCS. mas pino tunog ng makina at mas maganda hatak. Nung petron kinakarga ko tumutupi makina. Eversince di na ako nagkarga ng petron fuel.

Yung shell v-power nitro+ at racing ok din kaso mahal. Pag nasa province at walang Phoenix, Shell v-power kinakarga ko.

Shell V power 95 user ako ever since. Nag try ako 1 full tank from Empty to Full sa phoenix 95 ron dahil mas cheaper nga. Feel ko mas malakas hatak ng shell compare sa phoenix. Ayun after ko i Empty ulit balik ako sa shell.

theres a news that this guys also smuggles petroleum product during Pnoy time, in BILLIONS, but when Du30 comes in lahat kaso sa kanya abswelto, naging crony pa siya.
