July 29th, 2009 06:39 PM #92I always gas up at seaoil for diesel whenever I can. I read that seaoil's diesel is euro V compliant (other diesel here are only euro II), it's supposed to be cleaner. I don't know if this is true or just a marketing advertisement but I did some experiment by using seaoil's diesel for 5 consecutive full tanks. I notice improvements in power but I don't claim this with 100% certainty, just by 'feel'. Also emission 'seems cleaner' indeed. Basta, all I can say 'for sure' is that seaoil's diesel is not inferior to that of the big 3, so kung totoo claim ng seaoil na euro V compliant ang diesel nila, there is no harm in trying them. IMHO.
why did I stop gassing up at seaoil on a regular basis? malayo kasi e, medyo nagkataon na out of way sakin yung mga stations ng seaoil. Pero kung may seaoil ako nadaanan, I make it a point to gas up basta competitive ang price.

July 29th, 2009 10:56 PM #93i've been using flying V and/or seaoil diesel for 2 years now. maganda ang performance and mileage. around 1-2 peso less per liter vs the big 3. alam ko isa pa sa kanila ang naunang maghalo ng biodiesel.

August 3rd, 2009 01:29 PM #94The seaoil stations can be viewed here: http://www.extreme97.com.ph/index.ph...reme97Stations. At least now you can plan to gas up whenever there's a nearby seaoil station.

True, emission with extreme 97 is cleaner. It has to do with E10, i think. It burns clean. Plus when you use extreme 97, additives from other gasolines are replaced. And we all know these additives contribute to tailpipe emissions. Its higher octane din pala tends to ignite internal deposits kaya maganda at malakas sa engine.

August 5th, 2009 06:31 AM #97I usu gas up only at:
1. Petron
2. PTT
3. Caltex
Petron has the more modern refinery than Shell, kaya mas ok ang diesel and unleaded niya...
PTT's diesel is Euro4 compliant - i think one of the highest in the land. Unleaded did nila is straight 93RON kaya safe to use din sa mga sasakyan.
Caltex - mura if you have HSBC cards! Ok din diesel ni Caltex, Euro3 compliant. Unleaded nila is straight 91RON, pero nilagyan ng additive to make it 93RON kaya pwede na rin for my car which needs 91RON minimum!

I gas up at seaoil. Its newest blend is extreme 97 which runs on 97 RON for the price of 95 RON of others. Ganda ng hatak! Ramdam mo yung performance, mas nag-improve. Ok din ang gas mileage, minsan hindi pa rin maubos haha!

August 10th, 2009 03:17 PM #100I found out that shell's v-power is 95 octane while petron's blaze downgraded from 97 to 95. Relatively pareho lang ng performance 'to so I will still gas up at seaoil which has 97 octane rating for the price of others' 95 octane.
personally, i'd think thrice, before buying that toyota brand new rack and pinion, to fix my 2003...
