Not sure if there's already an existing thread about this. If so, kindly inform me.

I was informed yesterday by pump personnel in Shell San Juan that all of their gasoline now contains 10% ethanol (E10), including V-Power. Can anybody confirm if this is true?

I'm driving a 1996 Civic VTi, and based from Honda Philippines announcement,http://www.hondaphil.com/ver2/e10.php, my car is not E10 compatible.

Information from the internet says that E10 fuels will cause corrosion to fuel tank and fuel lines. Is there anything we can do to prevent this? Since I have also read that in time, all gasoline will be E10.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure about Shell but I do know that Caltex only sells e10 gasoline now. Don't the big oil companies care about people who don't have e10 compatible cars? This is going to be bad in the long run.

Checkout the above link for the thread on this.

To answer your question,- yes,- all Shell gasoline variants are now e10.

Bro spaceman,- only Caltex Silver is e10; their Gold still is pure gasoline.

Again,- read the page pointed to by the above link...
