It cost almost 2x as much as a standard turbo.
The one I'm familiar with provides maximum boost as low as 2000rpm.
There is no need for a wastegate as the variable geometry function of the turbine also acts as a wastegate & controls the amount of boost.

Could anyone point me to a website discussing the diesel turbo technology? I'd like to know more...

So considered as very old ang 5-year oil filter. Bakit pala manufacturing date lang naka-indicate...
