    Hi.

I'm considering purchasing a car or an suv but I'm on a tight budget (still saving up for one actually). What do you recommend? Automatic please.

    Much thanks!

dumadami na din ang kia rio ngayon sa metro... and maganda naman sya especially pag dark color.. although many would say na mukhang bump car due to large black plastic bumpers

    Brand new?

    Suggest to skimp through this:
    http://www.motioncars.com/carchart/index.htm
Then post here something more specific na for your budget.
As a starter, AT is more expensive than the MT of the same model. And AT generally is not available for most of the base models.

Dont think you will find a brand new AT diesel for around 700K.

Cherry QQ has a "triptronic" version. Dont know what they call it. I think its less than 400K. This is probably the cheapest out there.

Toyota has the Vios and Yaris for 700+. Avanza AT is 813 if you need more space.

Honda has the City and Jazz. The 1.3 version is less than 700 while the 1.5 is somewhat more expensive.

Kia has the Picanto for around 700K and the Rio for 700+

AFAIK, for a car brand- For Subcompact, QQ and Alto are the cheaper units at less than 350K.

While for the compact, the Mitsubishi Lancer GLS is best bang for the buck (inclusive of all the features ... alarm... the works with a 1.6engine) . While Nissan Sentra 1.3 is the cheapest in terms of the price.

What's the cheapest car/suv in the market?
