The VGIS personally is just a marketing scheme. Tried the new Optra with mine before selling my unit.

Am also a previous CCP Member, I'm even the one who informed Tsikot regarding the reprogram issue with the fuel system for the gas guzzler batches (first batch of Optras), but after the car aged, it became more of a liability rather than an asset. I survived spending P 30K for a 60K PMS, one that I find relatively expensive compared to my Lancer's major PMS din. And after that 60K PMS, came the 65K PMS, which didn't really come cheap as well.

The only thing I was clinging on that car before was the lightness of the steering wheel, the handling, ride-comfort, at ung hatak. But the car itself going on the aging process sure killed everything then and there.

Adding to insult is the fact that I can't find any buyer who's even willing to buy it above 300K... kahit mababa kuha though, I had to give in na rin. No choice na on my part.

Grabe yun ah.....30thou nagastos mo eh 60,0000 kms palang...

I dont know kung dyan every 5000 Km ginagawa ang servicing.
Part of the major service yan...
    OPTRA vs Civic.
Ive been dealing with GM vehicles for more than 2 years now.
compared with japanese vehicles which i handled before, iba talaga ang performance ng american cars when it comes to hatak, speed, ride, comfort.
Note that these optra, aveo, spark, epica are GMDAT(GM Daewoo Auto & Tech).... They are Korean made but with GM's technology...
Jap cars are also good.. long lasting(depende sa alaga), economical (mura ang PMS) at mapoporma rin...
You have to decide kung ano ba ang kailangan mo... POWER/SPEED or MONEY-SAVER.....
