What can you say about Suzuki Jimny?

I had a chance to ride and drive yung jimny in Bacolod last week...I fell in love with it.

I have been a pickup truck driver for a very long time and I would say that HINDI matagtag ang jimny (compared to a pick-up)....in fact ang sarap ng tulog ko (nasa likod na chair ako naka-upo).

Tapos nagmanuever ito sa palayan (medyo makitid at maputik na road)...on a 4x2 mode and at 1300 na engine (EFI) it was in fact powerful ride...the wheels I have were just ATs and yet it never slide on sites I knew/feel that it would slide.

IMO - For a brandnew miniSUV, the P700k price tag is quite expensive pero kung secondhand with a less than P500k price tag...I'll definitely get one once I have the moolah.

Ang negative comment ko lang is that the rear seats are really cramp...it is an ideal ride for 2 passengers only and luggage even on long trips. Pero kung 3 or 4 people, kawawa ang naka-upo sa likod on long trips.

Yung mga '01 na manual nasa Php350k na lang sa ads ngayon. Ito pa yung all-power na variant.

- from what ive heard almost 800thou ang brand new kaya ngtataka ko bka new 2006 model yun kaya gnun kataas ang price

- sna ibaba ang price para mas maging entry level xa, ska s tingin ko mas papatok sa market kung hnd gnun kataas ang price nya

- bahain kasi sa area namin (malabon ba naman e) ska mejo masikip na sa parking, kaya mgffit nlng ata e owner o kya jimny

a/b. Latest model is still on the same platform but has a different dashboard, bumpers, and alloy wheels. The 4x4 system is also push-button instead of the older lever-operated system. Easier to use but the lever system is still preferred by the hardcore guys.

c. Not sure about the price (it is quite expensive for its class AFAIK).

d. 'Two toned' units are usually base model units because of the unpainted bumpers and body cladding. Top of the line models are monotone.

No SRS, no ABS for Jimnys.

Available talaga ang ABS sa ibang markets. Yung SRS, mandatory pa sa iba.

Yes, 2006 models ang for sale. Going 2007 model na (no changes) kasi patapos na ang taon.
