Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread.
Daily drive is Sta. Rosa - Alabang - BF Paranaque.
I'm trying to decide between the City 1.5E CVT or Altis 1.6G CVT.
With the Altis parang I'm getting a lot more space for a little more, but is it underpowered at 1.6?
Thanks for your inputs!

The Altis isn't underpowered at all. I'd say it's pleasantly adequate - enough power for the daily commute, plus a bit more if you find yourself needing to go faster than usual.
The Altis has much more shoulder room than the City because it's a wider car, but the legroom is pretty close since the City is also a very spacious subcompact.
The price difference is pretty big though - 804k for the City E vs 992k for the Altis G. That's almost 200k. If you're after value for money, the City is better. If you like a more presitigous sedan, might as well go for the Civic 1.8E for 1.1M.

even lunar silver is already too dark. steel metallic is even darker
get the city and spend/invest the money elsewhere
shoulder room is only an issue if you're 3 in the backseat if you're driving then it really doesn't matter
but i'm not sure how much more comfy the corolla is but on paper it's the same twist beam rear suspension as in the city
Yap, ang ginagawa nila, nasa 45psi ang tire pressure noong na release sa akin. ginawa ko lang 30...
