At some point maiisip mo makakatipid ka.

Very satisfied. Lakas ng torque.
Thanks for the inputs. The P40K difference could be even larger if 1. Gasoline-Diesel Price is over P6/liter, 2. Greater than 10% for hi-way driving, 3. Maintenance Cost Difference is less than P6,000/yr and 4. Driving Style.

The SRP difference is one of the reasons of my comparison.

Thanks to everyone who gave their inputs.

Tsaka hindi lang 40K ang difference.

    Tucson GLS Theta II 2WD A/T - 1.158M
    Tucson GL R-eVGT 4WD A/T - 1.338M

Price difference is 180K. There's no 2WD version of the new Tucson R-eVGT.

The 40k is the yearly difference on the fuel & maintenance cost only. The SRP difference can be reached after the 4th year of the car in my computation. Price difference of the insurance is not included in my computation.

Ah ganun ba. If the power of the diesel engine is not important for you, yung Theta II 2WD nalang kunin mo.

We intend to use the car for more that 5 years, tulad ng revo ko na 11 years na... kaya makakatipid ako sa haba ng serbisyo ng car... iwas na lang kung lemon or major repairs during the lifetime...

After 5 years, yung maintenance ng CRDi engine medyo magiging mabigat na sa bulsa. Pero depende sa mileage yan.
