The Hard Starting issue is a thing of the past....the mirage has been int the market well over a year now....MMPC gave the mirage a 5yr warranty.....and most owners that had this issue had them replaced and fixed under warranty with no extra charges....

BTW...we also own a wigo and we were the first batch released since its launching.....we also experienced the hard starting issue as well..go figure! :D

case in point.... as you can see in the numbers game based on the sales of this nifty ride(mirage)...there becoming more like the beos...theyre everywhere! :D

Any Mirage owner here who can share their own experience whether or not you have the flywheel/driveplate issue?
Sir yung ibang mirage owners dito sa pinas napalitan na ng driveplate, flywheel at starter assembly pero bumalik ulit yung problem after 3 months. parang may bakal na naggagrind yung tunog. mukhang may design flaw talaga.

If a problem keeps on recurring on a specific vehicle and not to majority of other units then the design flaw COULD be the driver or rather bad driving habit. Otherwise, every vehicle should have the same problem if it's a mechanical design flaw. A good example would be the Montero Sport SUA driver design flaw.

AFAIK as a lurker of the mirage group only one has encountered the recurrence but not that long (less than a month i think) but after it was (nee drive plate) adjusted everything is fine. two of my friends who owns a mirage says they havent encountered such issue. both are GLS AT, a 2013 and 2014 models. a neighbor also has a wigo bought 2 months ago. he said city driving is ok but not for provincial trips wherein you need to put some loads.

It was really an issue with an early batch, due to a defect in the supply from a subcontractor. No other Mirages were affected.

Besides... if you're buying a small car for economy or low running costs... you never get an automatic.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    based sa observation ko.

wigo is more larger looking in the inside and outside. pag my dumadaan na mirage, naliliitan ako sa itsura.
wigo is more like a jazz.

I have put 18000km on my Mirage M/T. No issues whatsoever.
All I can say is totoong matipid. P500 can take you to lots of places.
