Ang ABS/EBD module nasa ilalim ng brake fluid reservoir sa may brake master banda. It's a metal box with 3 metal tubes coming out on top. Duda ko 3 channel ABS lang ang Vios: 1 per front wheel and 1 for both rear wheels. Better than nothing.
ABS helps avoid obstacles under hard braking by preventing the wheels from locking. Kung may emergency todo apak na lang no need to think about the brakes just steer away from danger. Under certain conditions ABS actually needs more distance to stop compared to braking without ABS. It also does not activate below a certain speed. It's all in the manual
+1 sa ABS

On engine start may "ABS" light na naka-on sa dash. Dapat nawawala after a while. May pitik din sa brake medal after the first few seconds of driving. Indication daw yon na tapos na self-test nya. Under hard braking and ABS is working may maririnig kang tak-tak-tak sa may likod ng dash na parang tunog ng ratchet. That means it's cycling the brakes on and off to keep them from locking. If you want to try it out find a wet, slippery but safe place to test.
Daming videos sa youtube re ABS.

Take note it keeps you in control. It does not (always) make you stop faster. And may findings daw na walang difference in number of accidents ang vehicles with or without ABS. Kung may ABS daw kasi nagiging kampante and/or kaskasero ang driver

December 16th, 2011 08:51 PM #29Vios E po, because of the discount. Suma total po, P 30k difference between the two variants, kaya kinuha ko na yung E.
But I appreciate your advice, Sir, specially driving safely. With 6 years of driving experience, wala po namang history ng accident.
Except noong nakabangga ako ng manok sa Pangasinan. P 200 ang singil sa akin, kasi daw higit isang kilo. :D
Tinola ang ulam namin noong gabi.

December 16th, 2011 08:58 PM #30Actually, parang trip ko walang tint. Yun lang, sunburn everyday. :D
EWD and umbrella (+ calendar daw) are standard.
DP is P 88k, P 13,606 monthly. May additional discount pa tomorrow: parang raffle between P 5k to P 20k. Confirmed ng Abad Santos na totoo kaya na-grab ko na.
Yun lang, walang available na black sa Q Ave, sa Abad Santos meron. Mag-swap pa daw sila so malabo bukas makuha si "Yuri".
Choice I would have made as well.
