Guys.help uli.we are choosing between this 3. The liteace, vannette,or mazda powervan. mga '94-'98 model. We know that this 3 are gas guzzlers(malakas sa gas). Pero hindi nman masyado gagamitin(2nd car lang).pagwikends lang & airport service(minsan lang). Pero sa 3, cno ang pinaka matipid, matibay, at mura ang pyesa(pinaka-OK)? would really appreciate ur response! TIA!

February 20th, 2010 10:50 PM #2Had a Lite Ace years ago, ok naman sya except that its underpowered, didn't experience too much overheating problem with it, we sold it since it was getting old and the mileage was quite high already. I've driven a Mazda Powervan and its one of the WORST vehicle that I've driven, kung Powervan lang mas ok pa yung FX. I don't know about the Vanette since I've not ridden in one.

vannet nalang. malakas aircon vs liteace. mas maluwag pa lalu na kapag tinanggal m yung 3rd row. madali lang ayusin ang overheat ng mga van na yan.

February 22nd, 2010 10:10 AM #5if your choices aren't closed yet, may i recommend the korean vans. kia besta, hyundai grace. they're basic vans. probably cheaper than your original three choices. of course, it's still caveat emptor out there.

our neighbor have both Toyota liteace GXL(1997) and Nissan Vanette Grand coach( tama ba yung variant?1998). mas luxurious yung vanette pero IMO mas ok ang itsura nung liteace. mas gamit din nila yung liteace kasi mas matipid daw compared to their vanette, at saka mahirap daw dalhin yung vanette sa hi way because of the NVH and yung sa aerodynamics daw.

hahaha worried pa pala sila sa aerodynamics in those type of cars (esp with the shape).
IMO, best all arounder is the Vanette if it doesnt have that overheating problem. I've known two persons, who sold their Lite Aces because of engine power issues, hindi naka akyat ng baguio (umatras) was both their scenario. One took an L300 after the lite ace and was bit happier with the performance.
The power van has very good feature but parts availability is a problem. Guzzler too. My uncle has one. Just their second car and in so far, serving them quite well. It drives like a Lite ace but feels much powerful.

-thanks sir for d recommendation.but we just sold our MB100 van.masyado po kc malaki.malimit lng po gamitin kc.so we just need a smaller van.
-thanks po mga sir sa advice/respone. hindi p kami mkpgdecide. i think we should remove the liteace in the choices. sa mga nabasa ko kc about sa liteace, underpowered cia, sbi din ng father ko.we also ask some people who had a liteace. medyo hirap nga daw umahon sa baguio lalo na pgloaded.u vannette daw malakas sa gas, pero hindi ka bitin sa engine power.and reliable nman daw.no idea sa mazda powervan.

does it really need to be a van, if i may suggest sir. why not take a look at Mitsubishi Space Wagon?
that is a 7 seater flexi layout, 1.8L MPI engine, smaller car dimensions and lighter weight means it could be more fuel efficient not underpowered than any of your choices.
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
