i got the new facelifted 3.0V 4x4 Fort and it got a very comfortable ride considering its a deisel and comparing to our previous car CR-V. i should say this because i've got my family having a very nice and good sleep on the 2nd and 3rd row seats everytime we travel.
This is not a safe practice.

Baka less than 1M na lang yung FM. That is the only reason why one would go for it.

thanks alot bro. sorry but i don't get your point. the passengers were asleep and not me the driver.

so if u r talking about safety how should it be done or pratice then. do you mean that if i would be the passenger, i would not sleep at all if traveling ( by bus, jeep and other means of transportation)? if this is the case, this should be applied as well on air transport. i do travel alot and i always sleep on planes.

sorry bro, kindly elaborate please... "or maybe u are just saying only that it is not safe to get asleep in a fortuner"

peace :btw:

Mahaba na pala talaga pila ng MS just my wife inquire from CITIMOTORS/ or Mistubishi Makati near DON BOSCO especially the Black Color which is the most popular SUV COLOR. Maybe next year hopefully athough we are hoping a 4X2 variant may came since we dont need a 4X4 in this busy street here in the City. I May have the 2.5li 4X2 AT DiD not a D4D

Oh I see. Its only my daughter who is sleeping on the lap of my wifey and the rest of my family were just safely sleeping just the same thing as most of the tsikoteers do here when they were on their cars as passengers.

Both of this SUV’s were beautiful and really nice to have one actually. We’ve checked both of this cars and decided to get the Fortuner as it got an advantage of the 3rd row seat which is better than the MS and the agent guy from Mitsubishi honestly admitted that the Fort got a better 3rd row seat.

I was really hesitant to get a Fortuner because of the reviews and comments (which is matagtag) I’ve read over the different forums. But from the time I’ve got one, I was relieved and even impressed. Its really hard just to rely and depend (though it really helps) only from some second hand thoughts and comments (sometimes biased???) without having yourself fit into it and have an experience. I should say, I’m a satisfied and a happy owner of Fort same for those guys who just got their MS.

Happy tsikotting and God Bless!

Now it's confirmed that the new Fort has an improved ride quality. I am happy that a new proud Fort owner has truly spoken and disputed the new fort's ride issue. Tagtag has been addressed by Toyota and, clearly they listen to there customers.

It may be a little OT but, just wanted to share my thoughts on emerging rivaling suv owners.

Whatever we own, may it be MS/Fort/Sta Fe, let us just be happy with what we have. Bashing each others ride will not help. Better if we address the flaws and help each other in a more constructive manner.

Gone are the days that you can only see handful of head turning vehicles. These flocks of eye candy SUV's are now becoming more popular and, feasible for the middle class including the working professionals to own. And regardless of the class in society, I still believe that money spent on this cars/suv's came from hard earned blood and sweat.

Likewise, owning the latest car/suv release, doesn't make one a rare owner at that. Just like the phenomenon on introduction of the release of Fort in 2005, when the long wait was so overwhelming and every dealer you go, would attest to the long queing. And excruciating wait, made some prospective buyer opted for the unpopular choice. ( Not that i am saying, the unpopular choice then was inferior, but wouldn't you want to get the 1st choice of car/suv that you ever wanted)

Ending it in a lighter note, Don't you like to see the streets of Manila to be a bed of stunning suv's. Such a beautiful sight to look at...
