August 20th, 2014 02:33 AM #22Maganda ang Ertiga, pero medyo nag-aalanganin ako sa 1.4 engine. If I got one. It'll probably go straight to the tuning shop and have all manner of bolt-on engine mods slapped on it.
IMHO the 2nd gen Avanza looks fine. Definitely a big improvement over it's cheap looking predecessor. You get the Toyota reputation too.
If I were in the market for gas subcompact MPVs though. I'd most
likely go for the Grand Livina 1.8M/T.

Okay na naman siguro para sa type ko na driver 1.4 engine since most of the time 60kph lang ang takbo ko, bihirang-bihira lumagpas 'yan.
Too much na kasi 'yung budget kapag lagpas 900k na. Bibili pa kasi ako ng rims.

September 7th, 2014 11:04 AM #24My tita got a grand livina.. it's really fast, very fast car.. but find it not fuel effecient compared to other cars alike. If you are wary about the 1.4 engine of ertiga why don't you try to test drive it first.. i assure you it won't fail you.. the engine loves to rev and loves to kick hard.. i've driven one to baguio with 8 people onboard and it never get breathless, very smooth as if you're driving in a flat surface yet you're climbing in a hill..
