for me, tama naman yun pinili nya pick-up!
ako nung student vios gamit ko as service later on nahirapan ako kapag may sakay kasi sumasabit sa humps or ramp tapos nun rainy season lagi ako kabado dahil sa baha.
nung nagkawork ako nagipon ako then last year bumili ako pick-up hindi dahil pampamilya, ang porma kaya nun! saka masmadaming pedeng isakay sa likod napaka useful ng pick up for me! kahit most of the time 2 lang kami ni gf

Kung binigyan ng sasakyan ng parents as reward, return always a good favor.
Be honest, kung installment ang tuition fee or during enrollment, give the receipt,
every end of semester, ipakita lagi ang classcard na walang basak, INC,
at pag-nakagraduate, ipakita ang TOR sa parents to return the good favor, not only for the academic studies,
also a "well-mannered" individual, na may respect sa parents, prof/teachers. at naka-graduate ng walang bad records.
Once na naka-work or naka-established ng sariling business, give a lifetime reward sa parents...

I wonder how will this kid face lifes real challenges in the future? He's going to enter college and he cant even make up his mind on what car to get. My point is just man up, pick one vehicle and get over it so you can move on w/ your life and study. Jeeez is that so hard?

To be fair, the TGP question did not come with all these silly assumptions and shallow "problems" to consider.
The TS just added all these things which apparently he thinks is what kids of rich parents think about when being given a car for college.
Back in college, there were I think 3 86s (and about half a dozen Genesis Coupes) that were daily driven by students. None of them were the shallow, outwardly egotistic stereotypes that the TS seems to associate with car-driving college kids.

Thank you!
