The problem with Hyundai is that despite the phenomenal growth, buyers in this industry normally wants those safe choices -- those tried and tested cars over the years. This is why the Toyota Camry would still be at the top and the Honda Accord as a second. Look at the US market and you'll see the same car positions.

We're a Honda family (we got like.. uhh.. 4 CR-Vs) yet I'm pretty happy with our first ever Hyundai car. Try visiting South Korea itself and you'll see Sonatas running all over the place so wala ako problem sa brand-image/reputation. I also like its exclusivity in a sense tatlo lang kami sa village have one. Mine's the first, the second comes from a family that owns a Subaru Legacy wagon.. and the third... my neighbor with a Lambo
