Suzuki Alto k10 vs Hyundai i10 (black bumper)
both below 500
- i10 of course more roomy
- even smaller an alto with a Celerio engine sound like fun to drive

Interesting comparison. I haven't seen the interior of an Alto nor the i10.

December 23rd, 2011 03:39 PM #3kung yung alto k10 eh gamit yung suzuki k10a engine na DOHC vvt, for sure malakas na makina yan.. kasi yung sasakyan ko na suzuki wagon r na k10 a engine (dohc lang hindi pa vvt) eh kayang kaya yung wagon r eh di lalo na yang alto..
plus matipid pa yung k10a engine tapos timing chain pa

yun 0.8 Alto, f8b e matulin na rin kahit maliit lang yung displacement niya (800cc) but halatang underpowered na kapag full passenger, yun k10a not quite sure, pero hataw din ito, dami kong nakikitang celerio hataw sa expressway e, tipid pa, yun iba nga sinasagad daw sa 160kph ang takbuhan nito, definitely it fun to drive, saka spacious kahit mukhang maliit tignan sa labas. another great thing about suzuki k10a e maintenance wise'. yun wagon r din ng kakilala ko k10a turbocharged ay parang 1.3 daw kung umarangkada, yakang-yaka kahit full passenger pa sila.
about sa i10 since it is 1.25 engine (simply as 1.2 engine), not so convincing daw ang fc for a city car.

The i10 is generations ahead in all aspects. It's body is also designed to meet more stringent safety regulations as well as being more space efficient than the Alto's older architecture.
I'll take the i10 between the two. But the Alto ain't bad if you really want one.

been choosing between that 2 models last March. ended up with Alto and I do not regret it. very fuel efficient. In terms of space, medyo maliit talaga but I can live with it. traveled manila-pangasinan-manila on a 35 liter tank, kalahati lang naubos ko.
