July 7th, 2011 01:16 AM #11Sayang kung hindi mo kinuha ang Carens, the 2.0CRDi engine and 6 speed transmission is definitely worth the money. Pero the Grand Livina shoud make a decent 2nd choice.

considered ko ung carens, space at crdi+6mt is a plus against the smaller livina... pero mas lesser compromises ang livina 6mt for me...
di kasi uso wagons dito... wagons avail lang either german or faux-american(korean infact). a legnum vr4 or corolla bz-touring wagon would be a great option
shop around pa ako.. nilalakad palang ang credit app,e..

July 7th, 2011 11:48 AM #13Have you considered na ipa-trade in sa Kia ang kotse mo? I hear they give pretty good appraisement deals. That way you can more conveniently slash your new car buying price at mas magaan na ang burden mo sa monthly payments.

July 7th, 2011 12:16 PM #14but why are you selling the xtrail?
if it is because of fuel expenses, then a diesel replacement will make you happy.
if you need more cargo space, get a pick up, or a van. in my view, a sedan or a station wagon is still too small..
i used to have a besta. it was ok. basic transport. minor malfunctions in the trimmings, but replacement parts were so cheap i couldn't really complain too much.

* dr.d: ayaw ko din sana, pero its can be an option. as of now, xtrail is morgaged for 180T * 12% for 114 days. while i still wait for a buyer/deal that i cant refuse.
i need fresh funds to prevent closure of the family business...
side note: when i acquired my xtrail last sept. 09, i know the responsibility and the "luho" ng sasakyan... i could have opted for either a space gear/ 07 civic FD/09 jazz/09 livina 6MT.... pero siyempre iba parin ang "arrive" mo pag nakita ka naka xtrail.. hehehe.. premium price.

i also have the same comment w/ dr. d. if i am the man standing in your shoes bro. always yummy, i would not let go of my xtrail. 180 K lang naman pala ang paka-mortgage mo. think twice dude, ibebenta mo ang xtrail mo for 500 k ba, more or less? fully paid mo na ba sya? if bayad mo na ang xtrail sa dealer, then you will sell it for 500 K to pay your mortgage debt of 180K plus let's say interests of 20 k, sabihin na nating 200-250 K ang babayaran mo sa mortgagee, e magkanong matitira sa yo, 250-300K, tapos gagamitin mo pang-down payment sa brand new car na babayaran mo rin in monthly installment, for 2-5 years? eh, mas malaki yata ang magiging utang mo nyan bro. as compared to 180-250K mortgage debt.

as of now, ung nga gross motgage ko a 208,800 pesos * 1800/d for 116 days... 3 months... enough time to wait for the right buyer/dealer. di ko naman bibitawan tong xtrail ng palugi noh, di ako kakagat sa 320-350T offerings ng mga ahente, di ako desperado magkaroon ng bagong sasakyan...pero atleast next year may kapalit na to, bababa nanaman ang value, at loananble amount...and by that time i project na ma-stabilize ng to almost normal ang business...well, mukhang down to livina 6MT nalang.. test driven a brand-new sx4 xover, and more compromises than praises....
hopefully by that time makakaipon na ulit ako..mga november-dec. na matatapos ako, so madami na ulit promo ang car dealers! (hopefully magpapromo na motorimage). wishful thinking parin ang prius sa akin....
