Ayos ka talaga Shadow and I agree.
Diba nga kung hindi mo ikahihirap or ikayayaman. . .
Nung 28 ako?
I’m dreaming of sana may 3M ako na savings and owning my own car not hand me down or family car.
Like what is posted iba yun may freedom na sayo yung oto.
It is a depreciating asset yes, still may fun and memories (good or bad) na kapalit.
Andami ngang pinoy masolb lang yung DP tsaka na poproblemahin yung ibang expenses of owning a car diba?
Enjoy!

March 27th, 2018 12:17 PM #103Thank you guys sa mga advices. This is my first thread here and I can’t believe na sobrang sincere, responsive and friendly ang mga tao dito.
My province is in Batangas BTW. How important is it to buy a car with side air bags? Yun kasi yung una kong criteria though not sure kung tama ba na yun dapat una kong hinahanap sa car.
So far eto yung list of cars na napili ko na may side air bags:
Cruze Sail LT
Ford Focus
Honda City RS Navi
Mazda 2 Sedan R
Mazda 3 Sedan V
Toyota Corolla Altis G and V
If hindi naman kasi important yung side air bags, I can buy a cheaper new cars worth less than 700k.
Don’t get me wrong pala sa idea when I said I want to attract girls... it’s just that mas madami kami mapupuntahan and mas convenient instead of commute pag may nililigawan na ako... not to boast my car to the girl. Aethetic is not my primary concern so hindi ko target yung mga worth lampas 1.2M....
My parents have isuzu crosswind but it is manual type. I plan to drive AT.

March 27th, 2018 12:19 PM #104buying a car with safety features is like buying insurance.
you pay good money for it, then pray that you never have need of it.
kung prubinsiya,
i guess the toyota is the better choice.
ease of parts and maintenance and all that.Last edited by dr. d; March 27th, 2018 at 12:26 PM.

Practice ka muna TS sa crosswind ng parents mo. It would teach you a lot lalo na sa overtaking sa provincial highway.

Trending nga itong thread mo haha
Side airbags? Added safety yun syempre.
Go with compact car, Honda City has kaso above 1M na yun VX+ for a subcompact car.
Drop by the dealer, test drive mo lahat ng options mo.
Feel the car.
At the end of the day may paborito ka na agad dyan.

March 27th, 2018 12:24 PM #108Side airbags for me are "nice to have", pero not necessary, DEPENDING on the price range.
Rationale: I'd rather drive a Civic with 2 front airbags than a minicar with 7 airbags. Pag inararo ka ng bus at full speed (from any direction), I'd rather be in the bigger car.
Cars I'd put on your shortlist simply for ease of maintenance:
Jazz
City
Yaris
Vios
Corolla
Civic

Not sure sa current prices, pero hindi na ba pasok yung Civic 1.8 sa 1.2M budget?
