Riding & driving are 2 very different experiences. The Jimny relatively shines more w/ time(we've an old 43, ruggedly used, clocking close to 100k & still drives really solid) ...when 1 gets to see others start to age & clunk. On tight spaces, unforgiving rough patches, 1'll be grateful for the live axles. The far-between repair episodes, besides the regular fluid changes, are often taken for granted.
The Jimny is practically a go anywhere, anytime, any weather mini old school LandCruiser, so ideal for solo or 2person daily.
Comfort? Can be had via suspension tweaks. On the 43, the OME combo of no-load 74 springs & 43 dampers makes it plusher than stock or any other subtly tricked out 1s I've tried....& the 74 is a much better platform w/ a lot more options.

The Corolla Cross seems like the most logical option. The Jimny is the most fun option (while being reliable and simple).

    agree

BR-V - not a fan pero these are my reasons...

Honda Badge = if you're not getting a Toyota, I guess Honda will provide the next best local support. L15 engine has been used since the previous Gen City (I think even longer).
It has Sensing... imagine 5 years later and you realize your car is not an EV/Hybrid... at least you have ADAS

You can get a TOTL car (kaso the drivetrain is entry level
yeah i kinda like br-v also, mostly coz of honda reliability. only the totl br-v has curtain airbags and sensing, but costs more than base corolla cross which also has curtain bags but lacks adas. at the end of the day the br-v is still just an asean car

If it is an everyday car, I'll go for a hybrid. The added price will be negated by fuel efficiency and its utilization.
as mentioned the office is 1km away. hybrid cost will never get recouped

Okay lang sa kanya ang footbrake ng Corolla Cross?

CX-3 parang same space lang sa Raize at Stonic.

For 1 Km commute, okay ang Jimny, CX-3, Raize, Stonic, Wigo, Brio, City RS HB, Yaris Cross, HRV.
