Go for Grand Livina if you decide to purchase an MPV instead of SUV:
1. Locally assembled thus spare parts are easily available.
2. New engine/model so you can expect that this model will stay for some time (alum block engine/drive by wire/all-powered) in Phils.
3. Japanese/European technology (Nissan/Renault).
4. You are looking for an SUV which normally comes as 5 seater. For an MPV, you get additional 2 seats.
5. Comfortable ride compared with other MPV.
6. Within your price range.
7. Safety features for a price of below 1 M (ABS, EBD, airbags, immobiliser, child-safety lock)
