If you don't care about it's long-term reliability then Chery QQ it is. Second hand units range from 180-230k.
I'd doubt if a 2009 Alto fits your budget. But it wont hurt to look around. Current altos range pa from 200k++

Yun nga e, I was surprised when I checked the prices of used Altos, 200k++ nga, damn kala ko kaya sa 150k-180k nga actually, kasi sakto yun ang tipid sana, kahit bumaba pa ang presyo ng langis pwede parin yun na batman car. E lalo na siguro yung mga picanto.

dude agree ako kay renzo or may be you can use the 200k for a DP for a brand new QQ311, 355k lang naman ata ang brand new unit nun e, then installment na, magaan lang daw sa bulsa ang hulog sa bank if your gettin a brand new QQ (sabi ng tropa ko na naka QQ)
or the SUZUKI MINIVANS below 250k yung mga brandnew rusco rebuilds.

Mataas lang ng konti, Suzuki Jimny. Or go LPG on your daily driver na lang kaya? And magdedepreciate din yun.

I saw a 2004 Picanto for sale at P215,000. It's big enough for 4. and though it's small, putting groceries in the car isn't half bad. I used to have a sedan w/ no space in the trunk due to my sub woofer/box, and so i just placed my groceries in the back seat. no biggie.
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
