Agree - within your cost budget, your best choices would be the Mazda CX5 with Skyactiv (if gas engine) or the Kia Sorento 4x2 CRDi. These were the 2 cars in my final list and I chose the Sorento.

Among gas CUV/SUV, the Mazda CX5 has the best fuel efficiency, handling and best of all, Mazda's FREE 3-year service.

Mazda CX5 is priced at more than 1.4M, which is beyond my budget. Are you referring to the MT model?

The Sorento CRDi 4x2 MT is even cheaper at around 1.25M, or maybe less with discounts. The posted price for the 4x2 CRDi AT is 1.35M. Some agents have ads in Sulit with discounts between 20k to 40k for the Sorento. If you don't want the bigger Sorento, you can opt for the smaller Sportage 4x2 CRDi but the prices are about the same.

Yes, Sorento is an option but not CX5.
