Yup! Definitely better! Let me know if you would like to go on this directions, I can share some pointers.

Di ba compact-category lang ang allowed for taxi use? Meaning like Corolla (Altis), Lancer, Sentra, etc. lang ang pwede? Eh diba yung Vios and Rio subcompact-category so di pwede pang taxi?

Sub-compacts are not designed for taxi use AFAIK. Sobrang sikip! No offense though to Vios taxi owners/operators.

Ang gulo talaga ng batas dito sa Pilipinas!

    Hey, it's just me.

i agree that support (maintenance) is crucial to your taxi business.. its a factor.. i understand computerize ang vios.. you need a specific engine analyzer for it which only toyota have.. unless you are sure you can have the car fix outside without help from toyota, then you should think twice in taking vios. even if toyota will help, still consider well cause in taxi business you have to streamline maintenance cost and going to dealers for a fix is very expensive...

with a fleet of 10 units, you can hire a mechanic to maintain your vehicle.. outsourcing may be expensive.. worse you will incur bigger downtime since you dont control the flow of work..

We're getting 10 units muna to start, and eventually work our way up.

Nung una gusto ko din sana kumuha ng 1 year old cars, pero since thru bank financing ko babayaran yung units, parang mas madali yata pag diretso sa casa. Most used car owners kasi want at least 50% dp and 1 year to pay, while sa bank pwede 20% lang tapos 2-3 years.

    medyo ot:

2-3 years? di ba mabigat hulugan yan? 20% down lang eh. magkano na ba boundary ng taxi?

The Sentra GX also has an ECU. But these items are idiot proof for at least 5 years (unless the vehicle gets submerged in water or other similar freak incidents).

I don't have the exact figure, pero kung 2 years to pay, kaya ng boundary if you're single. Kung pamilyado, mga 3 years kaya na.

The boundary for brand new is around 1,400 Php. As the years go by, pababa ng pababa. The common Corollas that you see now only has a boundary of around 1,200 Php, pag lpg converted. I guess pag hindi pa converted, 1,100 or something.
