    The diesel and V6 gas engined Patrol can easily beat the puny 2.7 vvti of the Fortuner anytime. I think this is an apple to oranges comparison, even if we were comparing a pre-owned Patrol to a brand new Fortuner.

    Patrol!

    Even if it's an older model, it's still a a level higher than the entry level Fort. it's more menacing and intimidating, too.
