November 29th, 2014 01:54 AM #22Yup, test drive is your best advice and follow your gut. People will have biases on certain brands so it's up to you to find your own bias. My bias is with Xtrail as I own both 1st and 2nd gen units. But part of it is it's not common on the road so you're one of the unique people who drives a different car. I would trade in my 2nd gen with the 3rd gen if there's an opportunity as Xtrails are built like a tank. It takes a long time to replace it so I need to wait.

December 1st, 2014 04:06 AM #23Thank you to all who gave their opinions, suggestions and insights. Really appreciate. After taking all of your comments under consideration and test driving the units, my wife chose the X-Trail over the Subaru although by a very small margin. As *sachiel said, the new Xtrail is not so common on the road and its nice to see people taking a peek at your car
