May 30th, 2009 07:42 AM #451I'm not a fortuner or montero owner myself pero honestly, nakakatawa yung mga comments nyo about the fortuner owners and their autos. The montero is not a perfect suv compared to the rest of the competition nor is it anything close to perfect. It's their money, so just respect their decision to buy what they feel is right. Maybe for others, mas maganda pa rin talaga ang fortuner.

Uy ingat sa mga words na gagamitin baka magaway away nanaman katulad last year's infamous thread...

bakit naman...dahil ba sa tagtag don't think so ms ride is not mile apart to facelifted fort santa fe has the better ride...my friend has 6 months old 4X4 montero silver color almost same with mine (lithium) put them side by side i still prefer the looks and proportion of my facelifted fort, inside is smaller compare to fort, 3rd row is cramp,no ceiling vent ac, no steering wheel audio control, engine is noisy, expensive pms,low resale value, acceleration from stand still no match sa fortuner mabagal ang montero sa arangkada naiiwan ng fort...fortuner sa buy and sell those owner is car enthusiast its a reality it's thier habit changing ride when new one comes along not because its montero but because its new in the market same thing happened when fort just arrive there are many cars of different brand sa buy and sell just to have the fort...

kawawa naman fort hehe. honestly fort pa din. kaya lang naman madami second hand nyan fort kasi sobra dami talaga bumili for the past 4 years hanggang ngayon. tapos taas pa din ng resale kahit 3 years above yun unit mababa pa din depreciation. Iba talaga demand ng market sa fort. Nothing wrong with the santa fe or MS although durability and reliability toyota pa din except for the first few units na d4d na nagkaproblem sa injectors/filters.

May 30th, 2009 10:23 AM #458My father-in-law was going to get the MS last Dec but dahil pina-ikot-ikot kami ng dealership he got a Fortunter instead. I thought the Fortuner would drive like an Innova since we also have an Innova and I like the Innova (wag ka lang sa 3rd row for 3 hrs) and i was surprised that it was a good ride. I was thinking of getting a Fortuner myself, pero ayoko naman tapatan yung father-in-law ko, so i got a Subaru Forester instead. Everybody happy.

Honestly fortuner is really ok, yung ride lang, pero tolerable naman..you dont expect camrylike ride in an SUV naman..but in all other aspects like resale value, maintenance and service, toyota is top notch(tho i think the other two hindi naman mababa sa tingin ko resale)...Actually isa din ako sa nagpaquote dati nung unang labas kaso nung mahaba na ang pila obligado pa na bumili ako ng leather seats or DVD player basta worth 70k ata noon, nabuwisit ako e, anyway..Mapa fortuner, montero sport or santa fe, lahat yan ok, kung ano man ang bibilhin ng buyer as long as he follows his heart and mind, he will have many years of driving pleasure with this fine vehicles..
am also having trouble with my driver side. uno de hechos dias...
