IMO, car awards and car reviews here are biased and / or influenced.

and the Ford Expedition winning unchallenged in the Ultra Luxury SUV class . The lone entry and winner for the Exotic SUV category was the Range Rover Sport TD V6

Moving on to the Crossover and Wagon segment, the 2WD division was won by the Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4 CVT variant. The 4WD division was won by Subaru Forester 2.5 XT. The Best Luxury Crossover on the other was won by the Volvo XC70 D5, beating other vehicles such as the Mazda CX-9, Dodge Journey, and Subaru Tribeca. The Best Ultra Luxury Crossover was won single handedly by the Mercedes Benz ML-Class Edition 10, proof that Mercedes Benz is still king when it comes to Luxury.

Pick-up category, it’s the Nissan Navara 4x2 M/T which won the 4x2 segment. The 4x4 category, on the other hand, was won by the Toyota Hilux G A/T.
Paanong naging Executive SUV ang Fortuner at Montero? How can we define being an executive by the way. You mean Henry Sy will ride this SUV? No way!

I dont believe in this CAGI. Pera-pera lang yan.

It somehow looks misplaced, like a sore thumb sticking out. Di ko lang masabi kung bakit. But on other SUV's with similar rear door handles (CRV, RAV4), I don't get this impression at all.

    Anyone share my sentiments?

Yup, we all tend to compare vehicles that are within a certain price range (or within our budgets). Sa tatlong yan:

    1a) MS 4x4 3.2 DiD GLS = PHP 1,500,000.00
    1b) MS 4x4 3.2 DiD GLS SE = PHP 1,680,000.00

    2a) SF 4x4 2.7 V6 = PHP 1,588,000.00
    2b) SF 4x4 2.2 CRDI = PHP 1,653,000.00

    3) Fort 4x4 3.0 D4D = PHP 1,698,000.00

lahat ng list prices nila naglalaro between 1.5M to 1.7M.

Ako, I was not looking for a 4x4 vehicle to begin with because mas malamang sa hindi na di ko talaga magagamit iyan. Kaya lang walang 4x2 variant ang MS as of now, so I consider it as a bonus na lang sa pagpili ko na bilhin ang MS.

New Montero Sport 4x4, Fortuner 3.0 4x4 or Sta. Fe 4x4.
