I'm not sure kung meron ng thread about this or kung correct na icompare ang vanette sa L300 versa van. I guess it's enough to show na wala talaga akong idea dito.
Thanks in advance po

Reason: wrong spelling
budget lang po is 130K, kaya karamihan ng nakikita ko sa range nayan is vanette and liteace. may nagsabi sakin ng baka makakuha ng L300. kaya naguluhan ako lalo. 9 members po sa family.
hmm...for 130k, i think you can also consider korean vans -- kia pregio, hyundai grace, etc. ...i think medyo subok na rin sila -- they seem to be a favorite among the vans for hire here(though lately, pansin ko parang kumokonti na siya; most vans i see now are either the earlier HiAce version or Urvan. Curiously wala ako masyadong nakikitang L300 na ginagawang van for hire. Anyways, going back...) Please do a search on korean vans here in tsikot, parang me narinig kasi ako na "nagkacrack" ung engine ng korean vans
For 130k kasi, i think you'll only be able to get the older models...i'd go for the L300 -- this is based solely on the availability of parts. Di ko sure kung marami pa bang mapag kukuhanan ng parts for the vanette...on the other hand they are still selling brand new L300's, so kalat na kalat siguro ang piyesa.
Please do bear in mind the pet peeve of L300 owners/drivers: the driver's seat gets real hot. Nasa ilalim kasi ata ung engine, and there isn't enough insulation. Sinasapin na lang ng karton....although with that line of thought, pwede rin siguro ung foam insulation na mabibili sa Ace. Crude, but it should work.
pag 9 members, parang bitin pag AUV; you can just barely fit 9 people in one, di pa kasama ug bagahe.
We had an L300 before gas version, mainit sa pwet! Oo!
Pero bata pa ako nun. mga 6 or 7 years old. hehe.
korek ka badkuk...dati kasi marami pa akong nakikita na korean second hand vans plying on the streets...ngayon you will see brand new vans of urvan, hi-ace, or even its L300 VV sibling L300 FB.
ah, the lite ace...brings back a lot of good memories in summers past B)
pero di ba underpowered ung liteace? i vividly remember my cousin driving one up a very steep mountain (Tops o Taps sa Cebu), mga 9 kami, first time kong nakaamoy ng nasusunog na piston ring B) umalingasaw sa cabin. To be fair though, pag patag naman ung daan, it seems to do a good enough job -- wag mo nga lang asahan na maganda ang acceleration B)
imho, if you usually drive by yourself, but have the need to load lots of people in occassionally...then maybe the liteace would make some sense. But if the situation is reversed, parang di ata advisable. Parts are another concern; di ko sure kung gano kadali/kahirap maghanap ng piyesa.
