Yes, it does not but it's good instant remedy. Lalo na sa Vios, na design flaw nya talaga yun. Mine started two weeks after I took home my brand new unit. Very evident yun lalo na pag reverse ka (most specially on matic cars) tapos naka-preno ka, or mostly while you are on idle. Hindi mo naman papahigpitan agad belt nun because it's new.

My 1NZ-FE has it before. My friends that needed to change AC compressors were 2NZ. But if you think about it, these pair of engine traces back to 1st gen Vios still. But 1st gen Vios/Solunas doesn't have this problems. I'm not hearing any 'sisiw' sound from gen3 owners as well. Might have been cured. Talagang sa gen2 lang.

March 26th, 2014 03:59 PM #24Ouch, change AC compressor at 60Tkms? Too early. I wonder how much ang replacement/equivalent compressors. Things like this makes me appreciate my ride more, hehe. Still worry free at 100Tkm.
Btw, thanks for your recommendation on the Accent CRDI. May isang fresh unit/religiously maintained na nakapost sa THP. I think Im gonna check it out.

It's not what you think. It was my friend's fault na lagi nya pinahihigpitan. Over tension nga siguro ang nangyari. Kasi pag umiingay, pahigpit sya ng pahigpit pero AC comp bearing na pala yun. Hanggang sa natanggal na lang AC bearing sa may pulley nya. Ayun change AC compressor na.
