    Crdi na ang montero.
Old school ang crosswind.

    that's not comfortable.

Crosswind fits your needs while Montero fits your needs and wants.

Montero costs more to maintain e.g. pms, car wash, insurance, tires, parts replacement etc. It is likely to consume more diesel per km. But If the additional expenses is manageable, then I suggest to get what you want, the Montero.

Btw, don't forget to ask for a huge discount. Happy casa hopping

With hope, this would be the first time that me and my family would be buying an automatic (AT).
Marami na rin kaming napagdaang vehicles, but all have been manual transmission (MT)
    e.g., several four-door sedans, a 2-door car, a Hi-Lux pick up, and an L300 FB.

We are currently looking at AUVs and SUVs - dito kasi kasya kami sabay-sabay (7 family members in all).
And amidst all the beautiful vehicles on the market right now,
we have narrowed down our choices to the 2015 Montero GLX AT and Isuzu Crosswind XUV AT.
The thought of possibly buying a second-hand version of either one also comes to mind.

The vehicle would be mainly used sa pagsundo at paghatid ng mga kids to their schools and workplaces,
i.e., from Sucat to Pasay City and Makati City areas.

We are hoping for your kind thoughts on the pros and cons (if any) between the two vehicles,
    suggestions, and/or inputs.

    Thank you very much, friends.

    Sir AnitoKid,

Since ang route nyo po is from sucat to pasay/makati, (80% highway driving 20% city driving)

FC efficient pag highway driving at normal speed (13-15KMS/L)

and the most important safety features na meron sa montero, yung ABS/EBD at airbag,

Since CRDI at drive by wire, medyo complicated, at kailangan maalaga pag dating sa maintenance.

FC efficient pag extreme stop-and-go traffic (6-8KMS/L)
di complicated ang maintenance, dahil more on mechanical at hindi drive-by-wire

Between the two, Montero hands down. I will only consider the Crosswind if it is the manual, base variant. For a budget of around 1.2M, there are many much, much better choices out there.

Aside from the base Montero, there's also the MUX. Price is similar to the Crosswind and is obviously much better in pretty much every aspect except maintenance cost.

    *playplugg:

Thank you very much for the tips. I appreciate very much the kind help.

Yun din naisip namin ni Mrs., last quarter of the year or 1st quarter of the new year,
ay mas maraming variants, deals, possible discounts, and the likes.

We are really trying our best to thread carefully and realistically with regard to this decision.
We know din na hindi namin makukuha lahat sa isang vehicle at lahat ng gusto namin,
but hoping still that we could at least get the most out of our hard-earned money.

In all honesty, excited kami. This is going to be our first AT / AUV or SUV vehicle.
