...ganyan din ang situation ko for the last 3 months,looking for the right pick-up which is good for long distance travel na more cormfy and fuel efficient and can also be use as a family car;
...me and my family decided to get strada glx 4x2 last dec.,been used it 4 times on long distance travel at masasabi kong hindi tagtag ang katawan ko sa pagmamaneho at matipid pa sa diesel,very quite at comfortable sa biyahe dahil ang sarap ng tulog ng mga anak ko sa 2nd row-seat;
...but then,iba't-iba ang taste natin kaya its up to you to test drive those 2 pick-up so you can compare,aside from getting some advice from other people who really knows those cars;on my part sinali ko ang mga mekaniko sa nag-advice sa akin,iisa lang ang sabi nila sa akin,mas subok daw ang 4d56 na makina ng strada glx,gamit daw ng mga starex(?) at auv;

I'm also into a pickup hunting and I chose Strada GLS 2.5 4x4, kasi sa 4x2 ng navarra 4x4 na sa strada....iba parin meron ka 4x4 lalo na sa weather natin nowadays(climate change) bigla nalang uulan in the middle of summer season then flash flood is everywhere, it will be hard to escape if you're car is 4x2. Balak ko pa imodify to bigger tire and lift it for few inches, IMO lang

I can't wait to see you driving your new strada...Advance Welcome to the club!
to the TS, I suggest weigh your options vigorously, take the point of sir shadow, you'll never know when will you need the 4x4 option, now adays, you cant really tell when will you need it, and assuming you didn't pursue it, it will only take one small incident to put that big regret on your shoulders....
Hope it helps...
PS, do a test drive on all of your options if possible...trust me, it will really help, just like what we did back in 2008 when we've done a dealership hopping for 3 days just to try all of those pickups that are available on the market at that time....and I can say up until now, theres no regret whatsoever on our side and were still all smiles every time we ride what we've chosen back then...
